I consider myself an absolute purist when it comes to the original version of this arrangement. And yes, I am aware that the song predates Deliverance by a long shot, but I hold it to be the standard by which every version of the song can be measured...and all I gotta say is you guys absolutely knocked it out of the park. I feel as though you stayed very true to the spirit of it all. When you went minor, I started getting seriously excited, and then Bam...mandolin. It was damn near spiritual for me...well done. You are amazing pickers!!!

Yep that's when I took my headphones off hooked up the stereo system and told my husband he has to listen to this because she in the Rock Band guitar I mean I should should say delete read guitar player so he could appreciate it that was phenomenal trust me this is coming from a person that only listens to Christian music for years. But that was awesome

Anyone who knew the dueling banjo song as theme song from the movie Deliverance will never forget it. It was stunning. This band has now introduced the new era of dueling banjos with their variation of tossing in other iconic melodies. Well rounded and enjoyable. the musicianship is superb. Bluegrass fan from South Africa.

This was great! Loved the addition of some classic rock. You took this and made it your own!

No matter who does this song deliverance always pops into my head 😵‍💫

Notice how Matthew is playing a 4 string "pectrum" banjo. Alex is using a thumbpick to strum and pick his guitar.

This is so, so Irish it makes me so very happy to hear it. Our Irish forefathers who left for the new world took our glorious celtic music with them, and it's such a brotherly music to our own that all I can is smile like child! To my Irish ears, this could literally be any pub in Ireland and it would be heaving filled with people, so it would.
