some people just never use it, so they are paying for something they don't need (in both cost and weight). I'm not sure what one has to do with the other...? If you want to elaborate, I'd be happy to try and better answer your question!🎸
@tomgoodwin534

@@RobArnoldWorld I though guitars with 22 frets have the advantage of having neck pickups that are warmer, oppose to 24+ fret guitars where the neck pickup is closer to the bridge. If this guitar only has a bridge pickup, why would it have 22 frets? Is there another advantage to having 22 frets? Or do you simply not need the extra frets?
@RobArnoldWorld
11 ай бұрын
@@tomgoodwin534 Hmm.. ya know man, I'm not actually sure, but here are my thoughts on that... Your theory about the warmth and the relationship between pickups and the number of frets a guitar has so many variables... Because a guitars warmth comes mainly from the guitars material, like what it's made out of, neck thru vs. bolt-on, pickups, amps, environment, the player, etc. To me, having 24 frets vs. 22 is simply a luxury. I prefer 24 frets, because it gives me two more frets and another octave to use. Because with 24 frets, you have three octaves... open, the 12th fret, and the 24th fret. I like that. And it's kind of like a 7 string guitar... Most players are fine with 6 strings, but some players prefer an extra string for extra expression. So I guess that's how I look it all, but I've never considered any relationship between the number of frets on a guitar and the pickups.🎸

I really don't get why you would ditch the Neck Humbucker...
@zoeherriot

some people just never use it, so they are paying for something they don't need (in both cost and weight). And there is a theory that it sounds different because it doesn't have the magnet in the neck affecting the strings. I don't necessarily buy that - but then I use the neck pickup a lot so. yeah.

Not a huge fan of bolt-ons. Otherwise looks really sick!
I’m curious, why would it have 22 frets when it doesn’t have a neck pickup?

I'm not sure what one has to do with the other...? If you want to elaborate, I'd be happy to try and better answer your question!🎸

@RobArnoldWorld

Only 1 pickup? That‘s kinda lame imo.
I have a 2010 esp f 300m with neck made custom I have 1st digit cut off on left hand needed neck thinner it cost a shit load but I love it
People fail to realize that if it's too light, it's hard to control when playing standing. An electric guitar needs weight....
Nice, but it doesn't have stainless steel frets.... If I was in the market for this type of guitar, it would be the only thing holding me back.
