Which bikes you had before? Did you have a chance to compare it against new machines ike ktm 890,1290 superduke or Yamaha Mt 10, mt 09, Tuono v4 1100?

I've only owned Ducatis. 92 900SS, Multistrada 620, 1098 and now the Monster 1100S. I did test drive the new 2023 Monster 950 and the 2017 Monster 1200S. Although both models are faster, the M1100 is much more fun and pure to drive. No electronics and plenty of torque. Power wheelies in 3rd gear are not possible with the M1200S and the M950 only wants to go up in 1st gear. The driving experience is also much higher than with the M950 and M1200S. The M1200S is really seriously fast, but feels almost twice as heavy and is simply too big and bulky. The M950 actually drives too well. The entire Ducati character is gone, as if you were riding a Japanese bike. No other Ducati for me for the time being, I'm really happy with my Monster 1100S!

Like a alcoholic Football Player 😂 the 1200s have also no Chance against a Mt 10, Superduke or a Triumph Speed Triple! 💪 Ducati Monster are only for chilling Drive! The Streetfighter v4 have Power but is a Bad bike too! It cant bring the 218ps to the street! Desmo is a big expensive Shit too! 💩🤮

​@@user-zg3uf2pz6b I have no problems maintaining my Desmo, yes it is expensive but I can manage it easaly. My Monster only has 95 HP and 106 NM and yes, many models are faster, but for me it's about the driving experience. I have never had it as high as on a Ducati. A Power wheelie in his 3rd gear from 100KMh works just fine, so he has enough power to enjoy hooliganing. I live in the Netherlands and the fines are extremely expensive, and the roads are very busy. So a 200 HP bike doesn't really work well for us. With the Monster I can go full throttle in many places, which is not entirely possible with a 160+ HP bike.

It is stock. It just has gear indicator, Leo Vince exhaust but that’s all.
