This video was a great guide to changing out the rollers. Hardest part was putting the door back on.
Steve, you're my hero. I was completely dumbfounded how difficult it appeared to get to the idler pulley, but with this video you sure did show me truly how easy it was. I can't thank you enough. This video is a true help. Plus, you made me look like a pro in front of the wife. Thank you again.
This dude has saved me so many hours Grateful

Just wanted you to know that I really appreciate you for showing this. My wife had a piece of her bra to come apart and get jammed in the motor. I was able to pull it apart and get our dryer fixed. Thank you so much.
Thank you very much for this informative and instructional video. You gave me the confidence in being able to repair my dryer (whirlpool cabrio) and save hundreds of dollars. the part was only $25 and you showed me how to fix it myself :) Take a bow PartSelect!!!!!

Thank you so much for posting this informative repair video! I was able to replace the idler pulley, and belt tonight MYSELF! This saved my family, and I tons of money! (either in replacing the dryer, or paying a repairman) Cheers!
Thank you for posting! Just what I was looking for to fix my dryer! Saved me a visit from a repair man!
This is a much better video than another I watched. I couldn't see how the belt was threaded through the tensioner in the other video. Thank you. Just cost me the 25 bucks for the belt plus my clothes are drying now.

Thanks, sir. Clear and easy -- you are a big help.
You're very welcome! Good job on the repair.
These very helpful videos (good for beginners).
Saying why or how you know to replacing them will help. Thanks
This video helped me. Thank you!
Helped me ...The tensioner arm popped off and caused the tub not to spin. Before I ran to sears to buy a new dryer I figured its already broke what harm could I do to try and fix. This video showed me exactly were the tension arm pulley went...
That's awesome! Great job on the repair. :)
Extremely helpful. Thank you
Great video. You saved me $200. Thank you.
Thanks so much for the help works perfect I don’t get the thumbs down guys but whatever is your issue.
I have a newer model but the steps were the same. First time doing it and it took me all of 5 minutes not counting watching the video before every step.
Great video. I did this and cleaned the wheels as they were gunked with hair and lint. I sprayed them with a little WD-40 and made sure none dropped down. Just a temp fix until the parts arrive. It’s now extremely quiet but when I open the door, I’m getting a slight burning smell. It’s only when I open the dryer door. Any ideas?
Hello, thanks for your question. The idler pulley may actually need to be replaced. Can you provide your model number and some detail on the symptoms your dryer is presenting? Thanks.
Thanks to you, I got the job done, 123.
Perfect thank you
3:35 some whirlpools dont have that white wheel which is okay u can still put the belt on.
My idler pulley arms are grinding against the motor pulley, making a horrible sound (Frigidaire Heavy Duty Dryer). Do I need to replace entire part or is there a way to adjust the idler pulley arms so they don't grind up against the motor pulley?
Mine will still squeak a little with no weight in it,,, like testing it. With six or seven towels in it, and they weren't real heavy as they were dry, I didn't hear a squeak at all
i have a very similar dryer to this, after replacing my drum rollers, it seems that my idler pulley has too much tension now, to the point that it gets pulled out. What can I do?
