Brilliant. You get to the point unlike other KZreadrs who spent 30 minutes talking about themselves, promoting something or both. You saved me a lot of time and money thank you.

I agree--this is great. The KZread "gurus" tell content creators like me to do all of this self-promo BS, but I think those of us in the fix-it, tools content areas do better just getting right to the point. Nobody got time for that! Thanks for the video, Steve!

OK, I am just blown away (in a very good way) by your tutorials, and parts replacement service. I have used your tutorials before, but purchased the part locally. This time, I purchased the part thru Partselect.. I ordered the part yesterday at 2:29 and had the part delivered to my home and installed before 2:29 today!! Also, you responded to my issue regarding a different configuration. I don't typically write reviews, but in your case, I am. EXCELLENT service and tutorials! Thank you!

Ordered parts from PartSelect! Replaced the heating elements and thermal Fuse in no time. Drying running again like new. Your videos helped a lot. I was just surprised when the credit card I used for the purchase showed "FOREIGN FINANCIAL CHARGE" for the ordered parts. All along I thought the purchase was in the US. The amount was not much, not that of a big deal.

Firstly, this video is AMAZING!!my dryer wasn’t heating anymore and I googled found this video and ordered the parts, I literally changed out 5 parts on the back of my dryer by clicking on a few of his other videos. This video is easy to follow and my dryer is fixed and actually is getting hotter then it was before and now takes 1 time full cycle to dry a full load compared to before it took us turning on 2-3 more times.

Great video! Repaired my dryer easily, One caveat though: be careful where you grip the back panel when removing it or putting it back on! Being a smaller person, when I was putting the metal back panel on I reached down to lift it up and instead of lifting it from the bottom, I put my hand onto the vents cut into the back. I didn't realize it was unfinished metal and it was razor sharp! Sliced three fingers badly (lots of blood). Be careful and stay away from those vents!

This video was very helpful, thank you. I tested my thermostats and they are fine. It's the heating terminals (white part) that appear to be bad. Does that mean the whole heating element needs to be changed? It seems like the white terminals are not removable from the housing. I have a Whirlpool Gold Ultimate Care II dryer. Thank you for any advice you can offer.

Thank you for this great video. Watched it before to repair my dryer with success. Wish to add that my unit did not have the door compartment (2:26) for the heater element that required to be replaced. Instead the entire element housing and vertical (grandfather clock style) cabinet was friction fit inside the dryer and was resting on 2 x fangs at the bottom. After bending a bit the topside compression clip, the entire assembly was in my hands. Then removed a screw at the bottom of this cage and could then access the defective element. Recently noted that the dryer is taking 2-3x longer to heat yet have ample heat and air flow. Almost burnt my hands touching the back dryer wall. That was a hint. Took it apart and found the heater element cage fell out of its tracks was leaning against the lint cage. That is, could see my wet clothes through the hot air hole that was now visible. Just fixed it again - secret is to be 100% sure that the TOP compression clip is locked into the slot on the heater element cage. Now I think I can hang off the unit and it should not move. If you do not do this, the cage will come off its 2 fangs at the bottom and will fail to dry your clothes. Thanks for your videos - learning a great deal.

This time I looked on youtube saw a how to video and repaired the part I purchased off eBay for $17.95 made in the USA and tax fee with Free priority shipping. The dryer we purchased when we moved to Cedar Hill in 2000. Savings $276.76!
