Some people just want their rights to be respected and to not have the government interfere with their lives over what they deem necessary. Is that wrong? Vaccinations are definitely a public safety issue because your kid could get other kids sick. But your kid testing positive or negative for drugs isn't going to possibly start an epidemic that could kill 10% of the U.S. population. I would be upset if my kids schools did random drug testing but I fully support vaccinations.

Honestly starting sports in highschool was the only thing that kept me out of trouble. I would not have been able to play these sports if they drug tested me. All this is doing is preventing someone from doing something that could prevent the use of drugs at a young age.

Feel like every school should do this. The principal is just doing something for the kids and keep them on track so they don’t end up on the streets🤷🏻‍♂️

E Vlogs It would be a good thing if it actually worked... Yes it will keep drugs out, no doubt because of the dogs they always have around, but even with the high level of security many students still let friends in through alternative entrances.

If my school did a random drug test half my school would be arrested. There's so many druggies.

Stevieplays it ruins the constitution. If you sign and agree that you can be picked for random drug test then that’s that but no one is signing up to get tested. Positive or not.

I faild a drug test it came back posiitive for amphetamins and when i tried to explain that i had a perscription for 2 ADHD medication they dident listen. That day sucked

If they are going to have these rules, teachers should have to drug test as well. Why not? We had a principal at a school in my city who was hooked on heroin or meth, he freaked out and led police on a high speed chase across the state line. What is more dangerous, a student on drugs or a adult teacher around children on drugs?

Exactly we had a teacher who’s own son kept saying that she was addicted to cocaine and she lost custody of him due to that and months later surprise she goes ape shit on her class after a student sneezed and they search her classroom and found cocaine. Usually it’s the adults in the school selling it as well at least in my school

Imagine being a kid growing up a couple years from now. You'll go to school and learn and take quizzes and get drug tests to . That would be brutal

Literally at our school before signing up for a club it states they need to be signed up for random drug testing or they cant be involved and usually they just give everyone random numbers and some number gets called to get drug tested

When two eighth grade boys smoke weed in the bathroom, get caught and aren't at school for months. Two weeks later 5 girls get caught vaping in he bathroom. 2 months ago found out a girl in my grade is pregnant and her mom is letting her keep it. That's my school

Marie 101 In my school the ms and hs is combined so we have 6th graders doing stuff like that. Kids vape out in the open, we have drug dogs come in way too much, we had a Freshmen pregnant by a senior, (illegal bc he's 18) and do much more. It's insane but nobody really pays attention
