Dropped a Camera in the Nastiest Bayou in Houston... and found a MONSTER
It's one thing to wonder what's under the water and another thing entirely to see it! Catfish, bass, alligator gar, monsters? What's swimming at the bottom of Houston's nastiest bayou?

Yeah, I had a feeling it would get snagged. I've been fishing that bayou long enough to know. I just wish I caught a fish.
That was fun! Thank you for a great underwater adventure.

Not sure that is the "Nastiest" bayou in Houston. I canoed Buffalo Bayou from Belt 8 to 610 about 40 years ago and me and my buddy smelled like a sewer when we got picked up by his girl. She would not let us ride in the truck we had to sit in the bed......

Wow catching that 40-pound catfish while having the underwater cam would have been insane! I never would have thought the water would be clear enough to see all those fish but we did so that was awesome. I can only imagine what you would pull out of there if you magnet-fished. Great video as always and I hope to see more underwater footage of your catches and some huge catfish as it gets colder.

I honestly thought this bayou would be clearer. I was kind of disappointed. I'll be going to Florida soon and I'll be taking this camera for sure.

@@wildlifefishingshow I've wanted to try and show off beautiful pan fish in a glass box because I saw a small channel do it. I would need to go somewhere with clearer water also to fill the box.
Now that's some urban fishing! Way to put a creative twist on it! I was hoping that 40lb cat would bite..

If I find clearer water, I might. I was kind of disappointed with the water quality, so a split screen (smaller aspect ratio) would have been too hard to see here. I might try this again in Florida

We have lots of luck at WW, but mostly catch small cats. They love corn. There’s bass too but haven’t had much luck with them on lures. We did catch a large cat there a year ago. And Braes Bayou we catch tilapia and small cats, occasionally carp and way too often we catch turtles.
Do you have a smaller camera? Would be neat to see little sunfish and small bass like this.
