That’s the easternmost point of the bolivar peninsula. We vacationed there last year and couldn’t imagine staying there during a hurricane with that being the only road in and out.

Thats the long stretch of highway between high island and gilchrest. I may have spelled that wrong, but they are alway half ass trying to keep the water off of it they just out all those rocks there and now they are washed onto the road making it even harder for people to get out.
