How would you go about adding ‘battle damage’; dents, scratches, etc.? Not just paint effects but physical damage.

@@DougPalumbo take an exacto knife and make some shallow cuts in the plastic that looks like slashes and take a small drill bit and lightly drill shallow holes for laser fire damage

I love how this droid mod turned out. It comes off as someone who's had it for years and has done everything they can to keep it running.

Fun video. For a moment I thought the chirps on the droid were to the music playing. I started putting my kicker (quick set, etc) into a dropper bottle. I felt like the spray was wasting too much, I really don't like the smell of it, and my spray bottle clogged up. It allows me to put a few drops where ever I want without getting it everywhere.

I love that idea. I’m going to give it a shot. It’s stupid gluing a tiny little piece, then one spritz from the kicker covers the 3 square inches around the area I actually need it.

This a very cool episode with Carrisa taking lead and Brian assisting. Such a wonderful twist. Love the remake, redesign and newly reinvisioned droid. Its was a great build love it all. Like so many here the back pack is really a unique feature. No driod i have ever seen had a back pack. Thank you both.

Awesome mod! An accelerator trick I use to prevent overspray of it. I spray some in a small cap and use a small piece of wire with a small tight loop on one end and a larger loop on the other end to grab and prevent it from rolling off tables. Dip the small loop in the accelerator and put it on one side and glue on the other. When I say small loop it can also be just a small bit of wire turned back on itself. It just gives it the ability to transfer a measurable amount on the now improvised tool. Or you could use the ‘superglue’ then touch the ‘tool’ to the sea and let the accelerator set the edge area of the superglue for a slightly more secure bond. I have had accelerator effect painted surfaces and I too have over sprayed it myself.

I enjoyed watch this. I too change my droids my last one was the pink and white one from the force awakens. Oh my goodness so much work lol . I use the 1/6 r2 unit.

Wow.... just wow.... I soo wanted to build a droid... but then seeing this amazing upgrade... I dont think I'll get one now cause it just won't even compare--- amazing looking droid!!! Thanks for sharing even if it killed my desire to build one :)

As much as I love the backpack, the true star of the show is the weathering. It really tells a story about that little dude. Great job!

Wow. That droid looks amazing. I love the little greebles. The backpack is well made and the antenna on top is really cool and adds some much needed detail that the base droids lack.
