I love chopper too! Even though he doesn’t say anything in the show, you can hear him say things lol.

I love this murderbot--so glad they're finally carrying him! At first, I was like, "Why customize--he's perfect as is!"--but then I remembered that Sabine used to paint him all the time on the show--so now I'm excited to see what you come up with!

the oscar the grouch of star wars :) I want one, his eeyore droid sounds are just hilarious.

A tip - there are covers inside the dome for the utility arms on his head. They slide out and can cover up the holes!

Yes, that chopper's awesome. One thoughts for customizing too, are all the paint jobs chopper got sneaking into the imperial bases :)

I LOVE CHOPPER!!! And didn't know he was being released. So I totally freaked out when we were on Batuu last week and saw him. Best impulse purchase ever!!! Now I want to watch Rebels a 4th time with him here, and again... and again... and again 🧡💛💚

Chop should be CHEAPER than the droids you build at droid depot. Since you don't get to build him there. $79 would be a better deal. Also some accessories don't work with Chop like with the other R series. Of course, I also think that the BB units should only be $60 since they can't use ANY accessories like the R units as well.

The prebuilt r2 and bb8 are the same price as the build your own too

Wish they would have had him available last year when I was at GE in Florida.

I cant wait to pick one up. Even though i already have a custom 3-D printed one.

I was only moderately interested in the Droid depot stuff but when they released Chopper I finally caved. I just got mine last week and I love terrorizing my pets with him. Feels very in character too.

Found a custom one of these at a Goodwill in PA for 8.99 .. bingo.. Was looking to see what I could find out about them.. Helpful content. Came with the bag, remote, all the accessories.. Win.. thanks for the video.

I just got the Shop Disney Chopper that was released for Ahsoka (just a repackage of this one). I've never had a Galaxy's Edge droid, haven't been to Galaxy's Edge yet. This video helped me figure out everything my droid can do! Thank you! I love your videos. They're so much fun to watch. Keep doing what you do! May the Force be with you! P.S. there are a few subtle changes that make it the Chopper from Ahsoka. His crooked yellow panel is grey and straightened out. And his left arm is grey instead of green like in Ahsoka. Just to clarify my earlier repackage statement. 😁

If you look around at the decor in the droid depot there are C1 series droids. There's at least 1 near the register/droid building area in WDW.

Dangit! I bought that guide book 3 days ago, but I didn't finish this video until now. I should have watched sooner to use your affiliate link when I bought it 🤦‍♂️ I'm only 3.5 weeks away from my first trip to Batuu and still can't decide if I'm going to keep my custom droid build or change to just getting Chopper to slightly customize and maybe paint, because he's my favorite show/film droid and I want his look and personality. Darn indecision and wanting ALL the things...but my wallet says no, eating is a thing too so I need to pick one for each activity lol

Being from the future I am just thinking "Just wait, then you'll see"

That would require them changing both the baskets and the mats at the build station. Currently when you build an r unit they place your basket over the bb unit diagram and vice versa. Adding a 3rd build option would mean they’d have to change that and that function of the build experience wouldn’t work as designed. Also that means people are going to take longer at the conveyor belt because there are more options, and likely would cause confusion with the extra panels that you put on your R unit at the build station because the c1 doesn’t use those. Too many variables would make the experience not soo good. So my guess is, no they won’t add it to the conveyor belt but instead sell them pre made just like they did with CB-23

@@Dan-O that makes sense They could also that to gaige popularity and see how one c1s sell in general Cause like you said it wouldn't be worth all the confusion especially if they don't sell well Obviously copper will, but other c1s might not So I think you are probably right Though it could be added down the line if they are sold super well Personally ide be okay if they sold c1 heads as a part option

May be an old comment, but Galaxy’s Edge now does allow you to build C1-10p droids

There’s some Accessory attachments on the legs too

He's amazing, as Chopper always is. If this means I can build an R-series droid with a C-series wheel leg, I'm going to be ecstatic. Also, I really hope if they introduce a Gonk droid, it doubles as a power bank for phones, etc.

In the droid group people have added echo dots to the inside of their droids domes

Hey just opened mine up… It seems like the “Droid Expression” button doesn’t do anything? When I press the sound button, he lights up and makes noise- But the expression button does nothing. Is that normal or is mine broken? This is my first Droid. :)

@@bbbb95476 it doesn’t. The personality chips are the same in every droid. Which is the point of the personality chip to provide a set of sounds

My 13 year old son (who is a HUGE Rebels fan) is disappointed that the arms don't fold into his dome. They can even do that on the Black Series action figure . . . seems like this $120 version should to the same. Otherwise--so happy they made a Chopper!

Look at when this video was made. They added C1 droid parts in May of 2022

You need the cr extension to give chopper legs

So, I purchased Chopper and he is awesome.....however I can not get him to communicate with the remote. I tried resetting him and the remote....I tried changing the batteries on both....i tried resetting the droid and nothing yet....any suggestions???

Can you use C1-10P leg on a R2-D2 ?

Chopper is the best droid in the galaxy. I said what I said.

I'd argue Chopper's not really a murderbot. That's probably debatable. But sassbag describes him to a T. And I'd probably not get Chopper himself. I'm more of a custom guy and would probably get my own custom C1 and/or R-unit. The C1s and R-units are the better deal imo.

Curious. Can you buy Chopper in the park and buy the backpack and carry him around to watch him interact like you can with the droids you build? I might just do that instead of building a droid. Chopper is so awesome!

Yeah, it’s available at the droid depot and sometimes at the resistance supply. You should watch my blogs from the opening of Galaxy’s edge to see the original gold version. Now they only offer a silver version
