i watched again because i thought i missed the part wher the drone was chasing the car :-) (i know, i got spoiled lately with the redbull F1 drone that follows Max Verstappen in his F1 car , now that was a milestone for me,this drone was just set up at a place where it could capture a big part of the road and after that they didn't do anything, a drone stays at the same place is you don't do anything :-) buy any dji drone and create this footage yourself in 5 minutes without any experience

The shot @4:35 is one of the best shots I’ve ever seen of these car comparisons. I wish they’d all show this perspective.

@@LoubrielJayneberglot of cars do that, just not production cars. I really do urge you to go to a car meet in Texas or OKC. Street cars with A/C running 6-7 second 1/4s shutting down at 200+mph. This is fast for a production car in terms of performance, but it should be considering the cost of it. If you had no emissions on your ass and a supercar manufacturer had a budget like Rimac and Bugatti, you would have a considerably faster car than the Rimac.

I have no problems switching from ICE to EVs once the charging infrastructure is in place, and if the cost is better than gas. The roadster 2 definitely isn't for the masses which is why Tesla doesn't build it. Price comes down easily with volume but even for the Tesla S, the volume is low compared to the 3 or Y. There won't be volume for the roadster 2, too specialized a car.

No exaggeration that overhead shot of the speed comparison is the best bit of car-based entertainment I’ve ever seen. No shot in Top Gear, Grand Tour or anything comes near. So hard to understand scale, speed and feeling through a screen and that did everything we needed.

3:04 he's literally falling sideways through air (1.15 g acceleration), the reaction is understandable. Like, imagine you are skydiving but you are headed "down" towards the horizon afar, and there's a giant wall you are rolling down (the road).

MKBHD really gets cars. He's not just a tech reviewer driving a tech car. He could easily be just a automotive journalist and still put food on the table. The best part of the Nevera is that Mate Rimac, the CEO, is an such a likable dude. Dude is just an engineer who wants to make cool things, no fanfare, no vaporware. I think there are a few EV maker CEOs that could take notes...

He seems like such an approachable and friendly guy, which I never would've expected from the owner of a performance car company. I was watching his interview with Richard Hammond, and I was shocked by the fact that he just seems like a normal guy

You should be, what they have done is more than amazing, they have by passed every other car manufacturer in battery and general technology, they sit in the number 1 position and the others have a lot of catching up to do. I really hope Rimac produces every day affordable electric cars because they would easily take over the market because of their quality and superior battery technology.

@@LR-vw8yu I apologise - I am under NDA, so cannot be specific about our company's role in the cars' creation. In the overall design of the car, our part is relatively small, but important nonetheless. Hence why it is very cool to see the whole car, because we only concentrated on a very specific part of it. As an aside, I know people make things up on the internet, but I don't think my claim is egregious enough for you to attack me. Perhaps relax a little!

Really wanted to see it vs a Model S plaid. Loved the drone footage of the drag race, no view really shows the speed difference as well as that did.

@@FelixPisecker Other way round the plaid is lighter by roughly 130kg by their own numbers 2166kg for the Plaid and 2300kg for Nevera

The only others I'm aware of are Jason Cammisa and Derek Tam-Scott when they covered it in the Carmudgedon podcast. Which I recommend if you want to know more about this car
