Driving Damaged Roads in Utah Mountains

After a record snow year in Utah, it's been difficult to get into the mountains due to the damage caused by snow melt flooding, avalanche debris fields, rock slides, washouts and more. Join us as we take our Toyota 4Runner, Great White, for the first time this season into the higher elevations. We were surprised to find many roads still closed and other roads with quite a bit of damage. It makes for fun driving conditions though!

Definitely some beautiful country. Utah is one of my favorite states and I've spent a lot of time there.

Thanks, I love the PNW as well. I'm from NW Montana originally (near Glacier) and for a short time used to live up near Seattle (before I got into offroading and overlanding). It's fun to see your early videos of fly fishing!

Nice video showing the danger of the changes that can happen to roads with weather and erosion. It pays to know the difference between adventure and foolishness.

Thanks for your comment! You can't see the true depth in the video but had I gone off that first time I turned, I would have been high centered for sure. Most people just think I'm a pansy after watching this video. 😂
