Colorado Flat Tops Wilderness

Join Xplor Adventure (Eric, Jamie, Tyler, and pup Yuki) as they take Great White (2022 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro) on a 300-mile overland journey through the Flat Tops wilderness of Northern Colorado, using Overland Trail Guide's route and adding on the famous 4x4 route, Transfer Trail. This series will cover 3 episodes over 5 days.
The Flat Tops wilderness is the second largest wilderness in all of Colorado and a place of unparalleled beauty with majestic mountains, expansive meadows, lakes, streams, and never ending wildflowers.

    12:39 There are companies that make usb powered bug repellant bug sponge heaters. You can buy the active ingredient and just recharge the mats often. If there is no wind, it's like a 15' bubble of protection. Maybe a few get through, but it works like a charm. Let me know if you want more details of my setup.

    Awesome footage and well narrated. I’m going to have to try the Flat Tops, I usually go central or south Colorado mountains. The mosquitoes may keep me away in the summer months though! Greetings from Buena Vista Colorado. No mosquitoes 🦟 here!

    I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Flat Tops. But yes, depending on the time of year, you may hit some mosquitoes. Totally love the southern mountains as well. Do you have any good recommendations for trails down in your neck of the woods?

    @@rccola362 This covered Blair mountain and the trail to Adams Lake. And yes, there are several lakes up there. We also hit the Transfer trail from Glenwood Springs.
