brought back memories, my dad drove a 2004 fld120 with a 525 6nz and an 18 speed, now that sound is stuck in my head

Puts me right back in the driver's seat of my old FLD.

Miss my 03 Classic XL. Mine had a Detroit in it. Got rid of it with the Elog mandate here in the States. Bought a 96 FLD to replace her for now.

Thats what i drive for work a 1999 classic black flattop freightliner!

Just stumbled onto you page, great videos and some great driving! So many people with crazy shifting videos on the "right way to shift" should be watching these videos.

One day I would like to drive a Freightliner Classic as my truck.

How’s that going

This is the same truck i run everyday. Daycab with a c15 and 18 spd. She takes a mile to turn. I have fun goin to demo jobs in Philly. But she rips and I love her..

Did you make the "STOP"? The one where you stop, get out and walk around, trying to figure out if the one of the brakes are sticking. Whilst looking for that lose part that may or may not have fallen off before you got pulled over...!!

Wow I’m amazed you found a place hiring right now! I usually do building supplies which is right now considered an essential service, so I have been moving still, but things are finally slowing down a bit for me. Earlier this week I almost dead headed from Philadelphia back to Ontario, but a load popped up last second...

Might have been the original canisters but they were hollowed out at some point, so essentially straight pipes 👍

I feel for you Sir,, to have to drive a freightliner over a Pete and now you know Classic's do not turn like a Pete ,,,I would drive a R-Model Mack over a freightliner hehe not a fan of freightliner

Yeah it has a fairly long wheelbase and a large turning radius

Back when a truck steering wheel looked like a truck steering wheel.

Another driver window’d the block, was sold to a guy a few years ago, he had a classic with bad cab but good engine or something

Some of the tri axle drivers are scary. I had one fly by me on the shoulder. Then use a turning lane in a intersection to pass 3 cars and cut one off

Brent Manzella they pulled out from the side street as I was already committed to the turn, but I’ll admit I used up more of their lane than I wanted, the turning radius of this Freightliner ain’t the greatest...

@@callthemall slow, but strong! it has tonnes of torque to put out in low gears... HP are how fast are you moving, torque is how much you are moving :P
