Well...except for Heathers anyway. Heathers is an 80s film, but if someone was randomly guessing the year and said "1993", I wouldn't fault them for it at all.

Seriously. He was way more out of it by the end of this episode than usual 😂

unfortunatly the spiked punch giving him the bravery was acually disproven. In the sequel, we see that Biff spikes the punch with liquor. So it’s possible that Biff is the reason George was feeling particularly brave after drinking the punch and then going out in the parking lot to look for Lorraine. “That’s a very clever idea,” said Gale, though he explains they weren’t planning on making a sequel after the first film, so giving George liquid courage was never the intention. He added, “Bob Zemeckis and I would never say that you need alcohol to do the right thing.”

Considering the smokiness of the scotch and the peach brandy, the Bitter Disappointment could also be called the "Atlanta is Burning".

I just learned this from the Blank Check podcast (they are doing a chronological deep dive of Zemeckis films, they just finished BTTF 3 last weekend): the reason George is honking down peanut brittle like a monster is because there's a cut scene where Biff makes him buy an entire stock of his kid's fundraising candy

Given that Greg streams on Twitch, I'm surprised he can say POG that many times with a straight face.

For me it's "When will the world start making sense again?"

I think this is by far the most enjoyable episode of How to Drink for me, and that's saying something. I love how his personality really came out in this episode!

I'd totally believe that peanuts, guava, and passion fruit go well together. Sweet and tart contrasted with warm and nutty just makes sense

An absolute blast of a video! This is why I subscribed (actually, it was the wake up juice video that got me started!).

This man really went out and researched 1950's punch recipes for us.

I don't usually like these pop-culture inspired episodes as much. But when you got surprised by the Early Times and started in with the tasting notes, you got me on board.

It's pure joy to see Greg get progressively buzzed in these videos. Never change.

I think early times bottled in bond is supposed to adhere to their original recipe, which would be the one they woulda been drinking in 1955... And it's much better than the alternative.

It’s really interesting to me how the actor who played Biff is very nice and grounded in reality! I saw his daughter Emily Wilson who is a remarkable speaker a few years ago. ☺️

really wish you hadnt gotten political. i can see this channel is going in that direction now so i bid you farewell. this was one of the few channels i liked because you werent a political one but that appears to be changing. good luck to you and the channel, and good bye.

You have a lot of episodes where you appear fairly sober and a lot of episodes that are clearly late into your filming schedule and you're feeling yourself. This definitely felt like a transition episode where you start off fairly solid and you are loosey goosey at the end.

Love what you do! I want to try the spiked punch. Do you list your ingredients and portions anywhere or should I just rewatch the video?
