So grateful that I already had dried bay leafs and cinnamon sticks in my pantry! Made a cup last night and it IMMEDIATELY relieved soreness. Woke up this morning with a bit of soreness and again made a cup for IMMEDIATE relief. I also noticed that it loosened things up and helped me blow my nose easily. Hallelujah!

I hope I'm doing it the correct way I just came across this video the other day and I'm trying it for the first time right now. I have those fast boil like kettles or whatever you want to call them you press the button fill it up with water and it boils the water really quickly. So I put about three bay leaf in my mug and then I just poured the boiling water over it and I left it for about 5 minutes I also put a cinnamon stick and a tinge of lemon. Do you think that's the correct way like should I stir it or leave it longer or what

I don't know if the V.A. allows Osteopathic doctors, but if they do, I'd see if there's one near you. As a kid, I always had D.O.'s instead of M.D.'s and I know chiropractors and others like Dr. Berg aren't against M.D.'s, but prefer Osteopathic doctors when they need a doctor.

Great video. I love holistic medicine. I'm 46 and my great grandma, who has long passed away, was born dirt poor in rural PA in the 1890s. She had 7 children at home and only ever used holistic healing. She made numerous teas on her cook stove. I remember seeing bay leaves in a bag even though I was a child then. Wish I could go back and learn all her natural teas, poultice and remedies. Thank you Dr Berg.

My grandmother was a healer. I don't know many of her recipes by I know how to make a mustard poultice for chest congestion. Take two tsp of dry mustard and 1/2 cup of flour mix together add enough water to make a paste. Spread it onto one half of a piece of material. My mom always used a t towel. Fold the other side over. Lay it on the patient's chest with a towel on top to keep the heat in. Be careful as you can burn the skin!! Keep it on for 15-20 minutes. It will help a congested chest

Thank you Dr. Berg! I am making it a goal of mine to not take any pharmaceuticals this year. 1 month down 11 to go! These NATURAL remedies are EXACTLY what I’m looking for! Also my intermittent fasting and the two 48 hour fast I’ve done in the last month helped me lose 10lbs!! 230 to 220. The lightest I’ve been in 20 years!!! Thank you! Edit: 3 months down, 9 to go! And down another 7 lbs.. 213! Edit: 9/16/22 I got my weight down to 211 in July. Summer activities and drinking alcohol got me back up to 216. But holding weight steady. I ended up having kidney stones developing in May. I’ve passed 4 stones. The pain on the first one was bad, but managed without any drugs… not even Tylenol. But they did prescribe me some hydrocodone and flowmax in case it happened again. I did end up taking just one pill of hydrocodone and a flowmax pill to help the second one pass. Then the third one I took two Tylenols. But the fourth was bearable and I didn’t take anything. I’ve managed otherwise to take. Irving… not even allergy pills. I’m making it through the year pretty well I’d say! Next is to drop alcohol all together.

@Loretta Gravelle. Something else that will help sore throats and alkanize the body as well is a product called Cellfood. It is essentially food grade hydrogen peroxide and minerals. I used it the last time I had a sore throat that was so bad, that it was painful to swallow. I put about 8-12 drops of it in water and drank it. Immediately it soothed the throat and did great damage to whatever the vermin was that caused it (virus?). It's not as cheap as bay leaves, but it worked on a very severe sore throat. BTW, the extra oxygen in the body should help with leftover fatigue symptoms as well. Sublingual vitamin B12 should also help with the fatigue and brain fog.

Try NAC (n acetyl cysteine) i used it to recover from heavy flu (was probably covid but I didn’t bother testing), NAC is v good for clearing respiratory disorders & also a precursor to glutathione (master antioxidant) which will assist in recovery. I also took beef liver heart and kidney capsules which helped with increasing energy as I felt exhausted all the time. Oh and 20,000iu vit d which I’m still taking now 3 months later as it’s winter here (take vit k with it though).

@Helen Keto With Doctor Berg's permission: From a "carnicero" friend of mine. Se llama "Carlos". A kilo (or more) of ram or cow (any part you like, neck, back, etc) A pressure cooker (or conventional dutch oven with grate) laurel (bay leaves) about 5 or six (more if smaller) thyme (1 tsp) oregano/majoram (1 tsp) garlic powder (1 tsp) salt (quantity to taste) Method: Put water in the bottom of the pot, add all of the herbs (no need to bundle them - just toss them in). Put in the grate, place the meat on top of the grate (meat does not touch the water hence the term "barbacoa" or BBQ in English). Salt generously the meat. (I use hymalian salt) Set the pressure cooker to an hour on high pressure. Conventional dutch oven at 180C (350F) for three hours. When cooked, take the meat out, chop up. Sieve the liquid, adjust the salt (add pepper if you like it). Serve the meat on the plate, and add some of the "consume" "broth" over the top. You may also eat the broth as a soup next to the meat. Not much better in the world than this stuff. Receipe is from Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, Mexico! ¡Provecho!
