Dressing Etiquette Part 2

A tuxedo is mostly seen as night attire. For evening weddings: suit and tuxedo. Both are great options. If the invitation says black tie attire is required: you can never go wrong with a tuxedo. The difference between a suit and a tuxedo is satin (aka the shiny fabric). A tuxedo will have satin on the lapel of the jacket, as well as a satin lining on the side of the trousers. The term "tuxedo" was derived from the village of Tuxedo Park in New York State, where it was introduced in 1886 following the example of Europeans.
Does black-tie mean tuxedo? For the suit-wearing type, yes, a black-tie dress code necessitates a tuxedo. There's wiggle room if the dress code is black-tie preferred or optional but if it's a black-tie wedding, you're expected to wear a tuxedo.

Is this dressing frivolous activity. Well if you are not into the society circle but a rustic then it may be so. But dress do reflect your personality. How you carry yourself with proper dress shows your class and polish. So go ahead and choose the right suit to be appropriately attired for the special occasion. Good insight provided in this video. 🎉
