Hell's Kitchen, the last song featured in Instrumedley, is actually my favorite instrumental piece of Dream Theater. It's not the longest nor has the most transitions, but it's really really appealing and epic, especially that ending, it's nothing technical, but so full of soul.

Yeah, while I'm not naming favorites it's definitely up there. Due to its shorter length it's probably my most listened to DT song. I always got the feeling it's quite underrated or a song people just happen to miss.

The problem is that I can't listen to Hell's Kitchen without it leading into Lines in the Sand. I always thought of it as an intro leading into Lines in the Sand, just like Vacant leads into Stream of Consciousness, they go together.

John, Mike and Jordan are actually part of Liquid Tension Experiment, its just a different bass player and there is no singing in their songs.

Yeah, you should react to Liquid Tension Expermient stuff, their instrumental is beyond this planet. Pure MAGIC

Portnoy is a friggin beast...they all are for that matter.

i have to admit the fact that this is 'indeed' if not the greatest but surely one of La Brie's the best performances.
