Oh yes, that would be nice! Unsure if you've done it here elsewhere, but I would love how to draw and paint common fruits . I've been struggling with doing an apple. The body of it looks okay, but it's that little depressed area where the stem is. I struggle a bit with how to add light reflection in that area, but getting better. Thanks, Michele!

Yes more deep dive videos please! I’d like one on placing shadows on buildings and how to paint reflections in water
You have a gift for breaking down subjects into nice bite sized pieces and making it accessible and doable. Thank you. 🌺

Yes, please, more "deep dive" videos. These are very helpful to this beginner!
This was fantastic. You hit on every problem I have ever had! Keep these in depth videos coming. I find your teaching style very direct and I appreciate your giving so much to your viewers. Thanks again.
I just watched this for a second time. Needed the review.
A trick that I learnt at sewing school is to, drawing one perfect side, trace over it with tracing paper, cut out that shape, flip it over and line it up with the one you've already drawn, and finally, trace around your cutout. Ta dah! One perfect vase!

I really liked this deep dive because it was all about 1 subject instead of overwhelming with a whole scene. It was a step by step on improving 1 thing, but it could be applied anywhere.
I needed to learn this. Thank you for your excellent explanation! I greatly appreciate your videos and I've learned so much from you. Please continue with perspective. I'd love to see something on stairs.

Lots of terrific tips that can be used when drawing loads of things. Always rounding the "points" of an ellipse immediately improves the look of your drawing.

Yes, I really do appreciate the "deep-dive" approach. It helps me in learning a subject when I can know the details of how and why certain things are done. I especially liked the part on drawing decoration on the pot. Thanks!
Learning to draw with the correct basics is so important and I must thank you for this. Please let us continue in this way. As others have said, you are a fantastic teacher Michelle. 👍👩🎨🧡

Hi Michele, I have just started to draw. Today I was drawing a houseplant in a pot, and I had all kinds of problems. I'm so glad I found this video. Now I see that there is much to consider when drawing a pot. I will watch this video a few times until I master your techniques. Thank you so much for the free lessons. I will continue with them, working my way to colored pencils and then watercolor. I like your thorough, no-nonsense approach to teaching. I am focusing on botanicals as that is my favorite subject.

Watching this video was a lot more helpful for me than following the descriptions in the drawing books I have; I seem to need something shown to me to understand it properly. Or in short: I'd like to see more turorials like this one. Someone mentioned stairs and I'd like to learn that, too. Thank you so much for making such valuable videos. That's why I always "smash that button" 😀
I'd love more hints and tips on fore shortening the human body please. Really enjoying these videos. I've been taking art tuitions for a long time now and always learn something new or finally grasp a skill from you. Thank you x
Yes Michele, I find it very helpful when your lesson focuses on a specific item/thing. so funny that this week's lesson is about containers.........In my early sixties, kids grown, sort of frustrated how things have changed in this crazy world, I recently concluded that a new long term goal is exactly what I need, a goal that would not depend on other people for cooperation. Since I enjoy to look at art, photography, nature, decorating and color/patterns, I would love to learn how to draw and eventually may be paint, so I would be able to bring those elusive beautiful things I see onto paper. There are a couple of specific images that triggered my desire to acquire the skill of drawing. 1. My grown daughter + son each holding my mother-in-law's aging frail hand in their own. They are holding the hands that cradled them when they were little, that cooked food for all of us for decades, that held their hands to safely cross the street................ I know it requires a lot of skill to draw hands, but my goal is to learn that to bring that image to paper. 2. My all time favorite flower is "lily of the valley". unfortunately, in Los Angeles there are no lily of the valleys. For a long time I have been looking for a painting or photograph of this magical little flower, never able to find just the right one. I have my vision what that painting should look like, because I grew up collecting beautiful bouquets every year in May from our garden. And that is where this week's lesson fits in perfectly. I own a particular "woven pattern" ceramic pot that would look stunning with a bouquet of lily of the valleys. I ordered all my art supplies and am ready to learn. P.S. don't laugh, but this very lesson is precisely where I need to start, because my container/vessel drawing skills are at the level of a 4 year old. Excited to start. Thank you Michele

Although I learnt these things, this was a good reminder to help when drawing round objects & also things passing behind objects, we all need refreshers. Thanks. And, in your other video you empathized the importance of drawing before painting.

I do like these detailed instructions. To be able to see each line, each stroke, is often very helpful. I always want to see the artist dip the brush into the paint. This is exactly what I need. Your methods are so easily understood and can be implemented immediately. I keep hearing the refrain: If the drawing is not right, then the painting doesn't work. I am finding this to be true but I don't know how to draw.😣😥. Thank you so very much for taking on this subject matter for those of us that just need basic information to improve our watercolor painting as therapy.

Thank you Michele. This is a very helpful video 👍🙂
Another good video and its always good to be reminded of stuff Id forgotten. I dont tend to draw empty pots etc. So I usually (always) just rough it out and then line with a pen later. Ive also started )(again something new to me) sketching small objects in a book for later reference. However here in this part of Spain there are lots of pots outside houses and to be honest none of them are symmetrical, in fact some are so out its a challenge to actually draw the things..I could sit here all day watching your videos. Thanks for spending the time on these.

Loved this and the one on faces you did. Leaves would be helpful, and how to place them in a floral watercolour painting.
Excellent tutorial!!!
So informative. Thanks so much!!!
Thanks so much! You always give great explanations. I knew quite a bit of this, but was missing some pieces, especially the first part where you determined where the eye level of the photographer was. I am struggling with my rose paintings and will think about all of this to apply it to the various angles. I have even working on following the very painterly style of Trevour Waugh, which provides very little detail, so I have to get it just right. Ov course, if you ever give a lesson on that, it would be appreciated. Ian the meantime, hopefully I can figure out when I go wrong.
Soo helpful. Thankyou. I m still working on painting background flowers and leafs 🍃
This video was very helpful.
This sort of video is a go. I like it a lot. Showing the wrong way with the correct in encouraging. I know you do that a fair amount. I thought it was worth a mention. However, (here we go, he's gonna gripe!). I would also love to you unleashing you talents with a brush now and then. (That wasn't so harsh was it?). Hehehe. All good stuff Michele, and always a joy to watch. TTFN
