Wow. I could see myself doing something like this. Do you still draw faces? And how have you progressed since 4 years ago?

+Kodachi Doa They didn't like my style. I tried to change it to please my teachers. And I started to hate my art because it wasn't mine anymore.

+kashkamanna you need to have a style after you know how to draw realisticly you cant bend the rules if you dont know them only reason you have style cuz you cant draw realisticly its not like you prefer to draw that your are forced to draw that

+Octahedron It's not that simple, a lot of these proffesors don't require of you to paint/draw realistically, they require for it to be ''artsy''. And so if you're more of an aillustrator or aiming more for the gaming/film industry you're going to be missunderstood and you're gonna have a bad time. Also, painting realistically is not a problem, it just requires time invested and that's pretty much it.
I like how you joke a lot and being silly because that's just bringing the fun to learning
You funny. Me watch. Me laugh. Me can't draw.

Over a decade? Really?
Was about to comment how happy I am that I found this gem and realised all the comments are from 5 years ago
I can not physically express how much your videos help me. Thank you man!
Wow this method is awesome, drawing portraits has always been really hit or miss with me. I've studied a few different methods of constructing heads but found them all to be pretty time consuming since they put a heavy emphasis on measuring the exact placement of the features. I've been trying this out in photoshop and it seems awesome for getting a rough idea of where everything goes but it also gives a lot of freedom to push things around and add variety. Simple, repeatable shapes definitely seem to be the best method of construction for me. Thanks for sharing! Also I can't wait for that hair styles tutorial :D
I just found your channel and these Tutorials are amazing, exactly what I was looking for since recently I've been struggeling with proportions and that stuff. :')
Your voice is one of the best ive ever heard for Tutorials! the triangle, rectangle and circle formula has just blown my mind!! omg... thankyou!
you are an absolute legend man, i cant express my gratitude towards you in words as they will never suffice. i have struggled for years and years on how to draw side viewed female faces and you have saved me from disgusting out of proportion messes! i love your videos so damn much.
I found this video when I'm supposed to be preparing for a history class debate and now I'm here talking notes on the step by step. Worth it.
I just applied what I learned in this video to a painting that bad a profile view that I was struggling it and I MADE IT SO MUCH BETTER!! yay, thank you. I love this triangle idea, really puts together profile views

I never thought of using triangles, circle and squares for a side view face. I am going to try this method. The results look amazing!!
Can't wait for the hair tutorial! Very enjoyable video, very inspiring.
So... I've been drawing for years. I've nailed drawing the individual parts of a face long ago, however the proportions were always a mystery to me, even after watching a ton of proportion videos. Watched this, tried it, nailed it every time. Thanks a million, dude!
Crazy awesome and easy way to understand the face! Thanks man!
Thanks man, your videos are always so useful and entertaining at the same time. I certainly will follow you on Twitch!
This is the video I have been looking for! The instructions were clear and simple, the results were awesome (in my case, since I am terrible at drawing faces), your personality is great, tips were very helpful, and your style is really nice. Thank you!

This was so fun to watch! I have photoshop envy! I've only ever used Artstudio on the Ipad.....thanks so much for this vid!
Although observation is still very important, drawing side profiles using this method really helps me to understand more! Thanks for the tip about the triangles!
What a fresh view for drawing face ! Damn thank you Ahmed !
One of the best tutorials Ive seen.
This. Helped. So. Much. THANK YOU. This is the only tutorial that is down to simple. I'm trying to move out of realistic and get into more of this style. Thank you! :)
Everything that you make has been so incredibly helpful. I can't thank you enough for being willing to help others learn how to draw.

Nice technique bro! Make it easier for me to start with digital painting! Thanks for this man!
You sir, YOU HAVE OPENED MY EYES. Holy COW that is genius method I am going to steal it and use it for my own.
You are a genius. I focus on photomanipulations and have a decent understanding of Photoshop by now but I have always wanted to get into digital painting. I will definitely be checking out your channel more and practicing with your tutorials since I pretty much suck at drawing. You've got yourself a new subscriber and a watcher on DeviantArt. Thank you so much for your helpful videos!

I was going for semi-realism/semi-anime kind of style so this helped. (And I watched a tutorial for anime as well) I actually did observe that male have longer jaws but i didnt really think much of a square face for males.
Ik this is 4 years ago but the quality is amazing and your so silly and interesting ! I'm learning so much and you really made me happy! :D new subscriber! 👋🏽💗
