It shouldn't be any different
I believe the length of hose you use will affect your draw rate, the shorter the hose the better. For testing I like to run the 200’, as that is what most have on their reel, just a thought…thanks for the videos! Glad Patrick is doing better too!

It’s been a negligible difference. I’ve run through 200+ several times. And have found little change

@@powerfulimprovements yeah I was wondering what the difference would be…I’m always on 200’ never tested like 50’. I know when you get to 300’ feet of hose not too great of chemical pull.

I keep hearing that. So today I tested it. Ran my full 250ft, 100ft, and 50ft. Each time my 2.1 was pulling 1 gallon of chem for 8 gallons of water

17th...... I was going to ask you about the length of you testing hose but saw that you had about 50ft on there. the other 100ft might make a small difference. Might be negligible.

Yeah. I’ve done it on 200 and it is negligible
Also, 1.8 orifice (made for 2-3 gpm) is putting a lot more back pressure on your pump making it work harder trying to punch 9 gpm thru it. Long term pump damage? Maybe. Up for debate.

I checked my 10gpm yesterday and the psi wasn’t to high before the injector with the 1.8 orifice. Best I can tell it’s fine. Definitely slows down the flow though

Joe did you say you got your injector from the the Davis shooter tip website? I got mine from pan handle or maybe Doug Rucker I have tried building my own that piece you are talking about is tough to find its a 1/4” compression fitting on the end that goes into the injector I’ve wasted a lot of money buying different fittings wish I could find the exact one because you can order the check valve on zoro for 67 Bucks anyways thank you for that video you always post stuff when I need help thanks bud

I think it's an 1/8" and the threading is different than usual
@TheMhowi007

@@ktpowerwashing it's still 1/4" compression fitting the problem I'm running into is there's too much space from the start of the fitting before the threads start so I'm only able to turn the piece a couple times I'm in the middle of setting my truck up now will test tommorow and give feedback I'm in Boston it's 20 degrees out right now lol the threads om that side are fine threaded too I ordered several pieces on a stainless steel website and still can't find the right piece

I'm down here in Houston Texas we only had about a 2 week winter we've been washing Non-Stop.
I couldn't get my machine to draw last year. I think it's putting out like 11 GPM. I didn't think it was possible to fix it. I was trying to draw with a 2.3. But maybe I had an air leak too.

I am definitely going to try again because you're the one guy that does almost the exact setup I do. I have a trailer but I prefer to run around with just my truck. But I want to make the trailer more useful otherwise I will sell it.
