+Any Tree Will Do I was thinking the same thing. It really hurt me to know that her mother abused her even before the abduction, and, on top of that, no vigil or anything of that nature was held. I know I shouldn't feel bad for her since she is living a great life now, but what she endured was beyond comprehension.

@@Flatearth69 Everyone has a right to their comments and opinions and all she said was poor Michelle Knight and Michelle Knight has not been mentioned nowhere near as much as the other two because she was an adult when abducted so for some reason that seems to affect the way people speak about this situation Michelle should get just as much recognition as the other two girls. What happen to them all was horrific. Watch Michelle Knight story it is a eye opener.

Michelle was an adult when she disappeared, cops didn’t even think she was even missing. Believe that she was the runaway, even her parents believe that. I didn’t even bother to continue searching for her and just close the case. Considering that nobody was even looking for her, was kind of the sad and reason why people feel bad for. Doesn't make much sense to me. The visits must have been habitually quick and meaningless without much socializing or hanging around the house. Just in and out type of stuff. I can believe if they were not very close or didnt have a great relationship, but if thats not the case I can't imagine. I can't imagine ten years go by and he doesn't make one single mistake that alerts people's suspicions, but Charles Ramsey explains all that in his interviews. The guy acted too normal and with most people in the neighborhood sticking to their own business its awful tough to be able to suspect a seemingly "normal" individual.

  • @sensimania

Think about it.... If one of your siblings that you only visited once in a blue moon says that you can't go upstairs, your mind wouldn't go straight to thinking "maybe he's kidnapping and torturing young girls up there". You'd believe his excuse of it being messy. Some peoples mothers would ignore that request, and offer to clean the upstairs for him, but I guess he didn't have that kind of relationship with them. It's like when people come to visit my house, they aren't allowed in my bedroom. They don't even get a look in. But I promise you I'm not hiding and torturing people in there. It actually is quite messy (hoarder over here, lol). So none of my family members have seen my bedroom in years!

As someone who has bad apples in their family. I feel so bad for Castro’s brothers, mother, and his other kids. Of course it’s nothing compared to what the victims went through. but imagine your life getting ruined because you have a monster in your family and everyone thinks you’re the monster too and it effects your job and future. For those saying they should have known, they didn’t see him or visited often. And I’m sure if your brother told you to not go upstairs because it’s messy I’m sure you wouldn’t think he was keeping any girls up there.

what? police only confiscate phones when: 1. it has video showing them doing something wrong, and 2. they are aware they are being filmed. it's not illegal to film these public servants doing their job, and this met probably neither of those criteria.

I'd be surprised too. Because he played music loud af whenever they came over. He did that to muffle any sound. If they'd known, he wouldn't have done that. The girls all corroborated that too.

I found Lily Rose's (Michelle's) first book on youtube in audio format about a year ago for free. I don't know if it's still here, but it's worth looking up. I had to skip through the part where she tried to get her son back (Parent. Sucked to listen to it - her last words to him were around trying to comfort him because they were taking him away.) but it's really detailed and an amazing account of her life up to her rescue.

So I'm from Cleveland around that time I went to school at Big Creek Elementary (Middleburg Heights) during the abduction I was in 4th Grade and I had issues with the bus driver at that time, she used to pick with me and even kicked me off the bus PERMANENTLY because I had missed school once a week for my big sis little sis program and would walk home only that one day a week. Ironically after being banned off the bus a man with a trench coat and a hat glasses driving a white car used to pull up at the curb come out of the car with a shovel and stand there waiting for me as IF I would just flock to him lol.. I would then end up running those 2 or 3 times he would get end up doing this and get back into his car and driving around the block looking for me at one point.. Ariel Castro was ALSO a bus driver.. I could have been one of those girls

I hate seeing that everyone is like “ Michelle should get more recognition” , which I don’t disagree with but it’s basically saying, Amanda and Gina went through shits and giggles. All of them for raped, beaten and starved, and everyone is like “Amanda gets all the time on the news” like, if it wasn’t for her, Ariel Castro would still be walking the streets, Amanda deserves everything, yEs Michelle did have it the worst but it leaves the exact same emotional scare on all three women

  • @o_huskywolfdean7

Michelle deserves to get more recognition, cause she was the only victim that. Wasn’t on the police database, so nobody knew that she was a part or connected of the kidnap. Nobody knew that she was even missing, only Amanda and Gina was more well know and focus on. The cops didn’t even think that she was missing, they thought that she was just a run away because what happened to her son. And her parents gave up searching her after a year. So, she told deserve to recognise.
