Those '80s crowds were electric!
I was there at the California Bowl in 1982 and today that is the best football game I ever attended.
What happened to the Red Wave? Man, my first game was in 1987 and my dad and I sat on the berm above where Barry Belli made that game winning kick against Pacific. Fans were louder pre-expansion of Bulldog Stadium than they were when I was a student in 2005 and 2006 and we had one of the best teams of the Pat Hill era that first year. Either way, thanks again for posting...your content is golden man.

I went to this game. Bulldog stadium was insane when I went to the games in the 80s. To the people that ruined bulldog stadium. I will never call it the new name. You ruined a nice part of fresno. The name. Shame on you. It will always be bulldog stadium. That is a no to the new name. I went to most of these games living in fresno. Saw videos of fresno state videos. I went to those games.
Ratcliffe Stadium was the place to be in the 70s & 80s. I ran those stairs as a Fresno City pitcher in the late 80s. That was a magic time.
Wow! I remember a few of those games back in the 80s and 90s. Who couldn't forget Marcus Mcmaryion and company beating Boise on their smurfs turf for the MW championship! And just today, Haener, Coach Tedford and the rest of the Mighty Fresno State Bulldogs made NCAA history, yet again. The L.A. Bowl champs along with being the only team to ever come back from a 1-4 start and win 10 in a row! The Bulldogs are so underrated. #ForTheV

I was at that Toledo game...What an absolute dump...But, that energy on the sideline was contagious, even if the cops spent more time telling us to be quiet than stopping the brawl in the student section, or the race war at the top of our section. Ben Jacobs was a monster in that game.

There are a few clips from the two OT games in 96 and 97. The one you're talking about is 06. I haven't found that one yet

UCLA is the best game of all time
I love my bulldogs and honestly Fresno is one of the only places in America where people will proudly and loudly say they’re from Fresno when asked. I love the rivalry against Boise I truly hate the blue but it’s been fun going back and forth In championship games we won some and they won some and considering the history of small schools Boise has always been at the top but we’re always right there ready to strike.
