as Serbian guy I have a lot of respect for French National teams in lot of collective sports (handball, basketball, football). Nikola Karabatic unites best of both sides in his gretaness :)) Also, I think after Jokic's era there 's coming Wenby's time of domination in NBA. He is most completed player I ever saw. Extremely gifted for defense and offense, with crazy understanding of basketball as collective game. Also has a right mindset and works ethic. P.S. I am glad that French waterpoolo is raising up, too. Think that Andija Prlainovic (has a important role in that process). He is from my hometown, and we (Serbs and Montenegrians) are proud on his success a lot

Wow, Jokic looks crazy trim and fit. I was having a hard time finding him in court because I’m not used to seeing him at his fighting weight. He plays at a different pace in Euro competition, quicker step, running the floor to get back on defense. You can tell he loves Euro style ball.

@@kingmoreorless2810 USA has a great team this year and they usually take it serious in the Olympics, it's only the World Championship when the European teams have an actual chance. I'm from Switzerland/Europe so no bias from my side. Non-basketball experts underestimate how difficult it actually is to play with "twin towers" if it was a great strategy, every team would have two Centers.
Can't wait for USA-Serbia match at the Olympics I feel like it's gonna be a great game

I mean, they are the 2 best squads in the olympics. Giannis Greece is a great squad but lacks the talent, France is full of bums (the fact Albicy is their starting PG says it all), Australia is old, Spain is not great anymore, Germany may be world champs but that squad is just not good enough.. and then theres Canada, great backourt but their bigs suck.
Bad coaching by France. They didnt capitalise their height advantage and turned the ball over a lot. On the other hand, Serbia played amazing defence with Avramovic Micic Petrusev and Milutinov, who made life a lot easier for Jokic and Bogi.

At the end of the Jokic really loves basketball and cares. I think that playoff loss must have made him really work on getting in shape in the off-season because he wants to be a winner again. I thought he was fine with one chip, but him training instead of enjoying his off time has really shown his motivation.
