Best QB Runs in College Football History
Фильм және анимация
A compilation of the best quarterback runs in College Football history. This includes long touchdown runs, crazy juke moves, and powerful truck sticks on defenders. Watch all 18 minutes to relieve some of the most electric moments in college football history including Michael Vick's insane touchdown run against Boston College in 2000 and Lamar Jackson's video game-like hurdle against Syracuse in 2016. I am planning on releasing a part 2 in the near future so let me know what plays should be included in that video. Enjoy!

@@Clubber-SlangAgreed, should've at least given wr/te a try. He'd have been a hybrid. Fast enough to split wide, and big enough to block from a three point stanc on the line. I don't blame him for wanting to prove he could play qb, and ten years later, a team would've probably taken a chance , but they did that more often than not with optin qbs that were fast, made them wr.

16:20 That Major Harris run was great and significant.
What makes Cam incredible is that he single handedly carried Auburn to a National Title. That offense was mediocre at best without him. Dyer was good, but that’s as far as it went. That’s a 8-5 team at best without Newton.

Cam carried the load. To a lesser extent Nick Fairley does deserve some credit on that defense. But 2010 was The Cam Newton Show. As an opposing fan at the time, it was painful, but it's always been incredible to watch Cam play.

@TheDuckMeister actually, his dad got paid for him to play there. And I've yet to see what any financial transaction had to do with how good Cam was on the field. Hint: It had nothing to do with it. Not one single run by Matt Jones when he was at Arkansas? Maybe the best running QB in SEC history.
Michael Vick at VA Tech is the number 1 reason College ball is my favorite. But I'm born and raised in Texas. Vince Young strolling into the end zone to win the National Championship against arguably the greatest team of all time, at that point, against USC is the best QB running moment of all time. The game was almost USC home game. Try and convince me that's not top 3 greatest games of all time. The University of Texas doesn't make up fake titles like a+m.

6:22 one of my favorite runs ever. Steps over one teammate, hurdles another and stops on a dime to make a man miss, avoids another tackle to then dive in
It is borderline criminal that there is only one highlight of the Flyin' Hawaiian Marcus Mariota. The dude was an absolute nightmare in the open field.
How can you put together a 19 minute video of the best QB runs ever and not have a single one from Matt Jones??? That dude had some unreal runs at Arkansas.

Tech fans call that "The Miracle in Morgantown." WVU went 4-7 that year, and VT went 11-1 and played FSU in the Sugar Bowl. There is no win over VT by WVU that is considered in any way to be exceptional. There's probably very few WVU fans that even remember the perfect 1993 season was preserved by a VT FG attempt that went wide right with 1:10 left in the game.
I totally love all da quarterback runs plays and that is straight facts 💯

Those runs by the Nebraska Cornhuskers QB's (Tommie Frazier, Eric Crouch and Taylor Martinez) honestly have to be the best runs in college football history. Especially Taylor Martinez run where he ran back about 14 yards and then took it to the house about 76yds!!! And then Eric Crouch run where he should have been sacked for the safety and took it a hundred yards that won him the Heisman that year. Hands down those Husker runs are tops.
Still gives me chills 🤣 Vince Young good ole High school days
Check out Matt Jones at Arkansas in the early 00's if there is a part II
Thank you .... nice video .... as a WVU alumni, I feel a bit slighted .... Pat White was a four year starter at WVU, ran for 4480 yards, and 47 TDs, while taking his team to four post season bowl victories. I think you could have given him a bit more love.
At 13:38 the Dalton Sneed run for UNLV, I was at that game back when I went to UNLV and I played high school football with the guy who missed the tackle in the end zone for what would have been a safety. Wild play

Pardon me for thinking that the entirety of this video would be Michael Vick runs. Really cool video btw!!!!
That Arizona QB doing the flip there was a little scary but amazing!!! LOL
Jalen Hurts run on uga in 2018 SECCG deserves a spot
Fun Fact on the Major Harris WVU run against Penn State: It was supposed to be a Bootleg to the wide side of the field and Harris ran the wrong way to the short side. He had no blocking designed on that run and was still able to score a TD. 16:19
See if you can find the footage of University of Hawaii QB (1981-84) Raphel Cherry, who was the first player to perform an acrobatic forward flip directly over a defender and into the end zone. I remember seeing this highlight one night as I was watching college football recaps during Cherry's career there. It was a stunning move in which Cherry landed on his feet and remained upright.
Memories!!
Robert "RG3" Griffin was so fun to watch in college and of course his rookie season in Washington
The Seneca Wallace run is still one of the best ever
The Jameis Winston run against Oklahoma State is underrated. Going from a full hurdle into a juke move on a dime like that is crazy for a 235 pound QB that gets mocked for his athleticism.
Great Video! I just have 1 question, there was not 1 Sam Ehlinger run in almost 20 min of video?
