@@edgarallan5592 Drake Bell pleaded guilty to grooming a teenager, beginning when she was as young as 12. In terms of the discourse surrounding the "ranking" of men's masculinity & sexual performamce into "Alpha" and "Beta" categories, "Sigma" was proposed as being a rank above Alpha: a suggestion which basically immediately got turned into a meme So the implication of the prior comment/joke (I hope it's a joke) is that grooming a 12 year old is behaviour characteristic of a sigma male. Regardless of the intent, it's based in some of the very real rhetorical shit that people on the fringes of those communities have argued as being OK behaviours

But even his wife knows the truth because she also communicated with that girl at multiple shows. She said so herself in a video she made on Instagram talking about everything that went on during the investigation he was not cheating with this girl. She as people believing that they were in a relationship with each other when all she did was relentlessly spam him on his Instagram until she got his attention. It was only one damn message that she hounded him for and she asked him for advise once she got his attention and he was nice enough to give it to her. I saw the text because a friend of mine who used to be a fan of his and now suddenly turned his back on him on Twitter sent me a screenshot of the actual text messages and advised me not to share because he was still on his probation at the time. She cried about problems that she was facing in her life and asked him if there's anything that she could do. He replied back, giving her words of encouragement such as telling her that she was awesome, was beautiful, boys were stupid and that she was too young to be worrying about stuff like that at her age and doesn't hesitate to tell her to keep her chin up. She thanked him for the advice and told him that he didn't know how much he had helped her before telling him that she had loved him and added a ❤ at the end of her message. He then sends her a picture of herself which is a selfie and complimented it calling her a cutie which in her warped mind meant that he was interested in her, but from his side he was just trying to be nice and cheer her up.

You probably unironically listen to the most garbage, overproduced, autotune "hip-hop" ever known on earth just because it's on trending and that's what you think the people you want to be your "friends" listen to. If emo and post-hardcore were still mainstream and being rammed down everyone's throats on ads and in movies, you'd still be listening to it. A few people are saying this but I don't get why. Did a bunch of Midwest emo bands get busted for pedophilia when I wasn't paying attention? I know about Brand New but that's it.

@@aliasart7485 It's not that the fans themselves are into it, it's that they're super quick when it comes to making up excuses for leads who abuse anyone of any age, sexually or otherwise. Midwest Emo especially harbors some of the worst human beings but because they have great voices they get a pass on what theyve done

penfold, (I’ll take u everywhere is my fave) mineral, American football, marietta, tiny moving parts, free throw, hot mulligan in order from more hardcore to more pop-ish. So I’d say start with hot mulligan, especially shaylee shanel!

If you wanna get into midwest emo/math rock the best bands to introduce you to the genre: this town needs guns, tiny moving parts, marietta, midwest pen pals (the og’s haha) american football, « lenses, maps », Algernon Cadwallader are also some of the og ones that made the genre really popular. Imo my fave midwest emo band even tho their songs are happy haha. If you want to get into cool emo/revival (not the old mainstream emo) i suggest Turnover their album Peripheral Vision is my favorite album on earth and has so much memories attached to it. Citizen, The Hotelier, Tiny Little Houses, Gleemer is so good too ! Rich People (not that known but a hidden gem. Listen ton back step from them you’ll fall in love with the song) then you have Tigers Jaw, moose blood etc. Hope you find what you like !
