Im really glad he got an offer, this is what Dragons Den is there for. To offer people like that an opportunity. He was bright, clever, enthusiastic and full of ideas. Im happy for him

Damn, this guy seems to know exactly what to say to every question and criticism. I usually hate people like that because they give off an air of arrogance, but he acknowledges where he's lacking and embraces it. Good on him.

Dude loved his product, believed in it and evangelised it. Passion and credibility combined, regardless of what one might think of the product.

This is such a delightful man! He kept on his toes and remained consistent. And I mean, it's literally impossible to not like this man!

That last ‘moment’ joke when considering Deborah Meadens offer really ticked me 😂 What a fantastic pitch, and personality, he had the dragons spellbound even with his self deprecating honesty about lack of business success. He was so positive, clear, knowledgeable and focussed, after all that’s what he was there for, to get Dragons support to realise his dream.

I agree. A real inventor is a rare and precious thing. As Deborah said to Pete that he could have 100 ideas and among them is one that is great. This is the difference between a true inventor and someone with a great idea. The inventor will have more bad ideas but also more good ideas than that someone with one great idea. As Thomas Edison said: genius is 1 % inspiration and 99 % perspiration".

She was in the show from 2017-2019, and then quit to do other things. During those 2 years I believe she made 3 investments, and her replacement Sara Davies is a much more likeable young woman. I think that Sara and Jenny are worth abiut the same, 10 million.

I have to say, he is the best person I have seen come into the den! I would buy the product too! He sold me when he mentioned raw food and putting ice underneath to keep it fresh! Fantastic!

Nothing close to "outrageously confident" about this pitch. He did a brilliant pitch and knew all aspects of his business and competition. Maybe pricing should be improved, but that is easy considering the cost per unit delivered.

That guy was amazing. He performed his pitch and never let up and offering his product/s for 25% of his Company for a measly €25,000 was brilliant. What he did do was unearth Peter Jones and Jenny’s insecurities in being in the company of a master communicator. Bravo. Deborah made an offer because he is good, his Cat Feeder is excellent and she is a generous lady with a secure mindset.

Jenny seems to just be rude to everyone who goes in there, she's decided she's out before she's learned anything about the product

@@commist9265 That's not a bad idea though. A person with a bad attitude or poor judgment running a business with a good product is less likely to succeed than a smart and likeable person running a business with an ok product.

A perfect presentation from a guy that simply packaged his passion into a cat phone.

Did this guy drink a whole bottle of Ribena and two bags of Skittles before he entered the Den?.

Jenny is honestly so rude. I don't know why she's even on the show, all these memes about her are funny only because they're actually true: she does nothing. Never invests, and the ones she does invest in, you never hear from again. She completely demorolized him and destroyed his pitch.

Agreed. Unnecessarily rude. If you are that insecure you need to put down strangers that have made a lot of sacrifices to be there, you need to give up your spot to somebody that can make a difference. It's not even that she can't afford to invest. It's the ridiculous excuses. Phillip.

To me this is one of my favourite episodes...It's very inspiring, if you've ever had an business idea or any other idea you believe in. And overall the production team got it right, the intro music, the selected scenes, the outro. I actually bookmarked this 👌

Yeah her reiteration of one thing was completely unnecessary. At least he invented two things I can see the use for. What did Jenny do? She was a banker. Yeah because if there's one thing the UK lacks it's banks. London is the world's banking capital, getting rich the way she did is way easier than being an inventor and she's going to ride on him for not being an overnight success on a product he created for a local council? The nerve of the woman.

Even though he didn't sell anything in his life, he sold that product very well to the dragons. He just needs a chance, and he'll make a good salesman. Well done to Deborah to place trust in him.

He was absolutely brilliant. No doubt the life and soul of wherever he graces with his presence

cat mama, and i was "you should have brought an actual cat in to prove that yes they WILL use this bowl and come to you when you use the 'cat phone'". he totally did his research on who to pitch hardest to, though. (my rescues would almost certainly be unimpressed, but then i'm on a fixed income so barring the vet saying i need to upgrade, they get store brand dry food.)

@@elizabethevenson6110 aah. I see. My mackerel tabby is a thicc girl! I've tried store brand wet food and dry but she turns her nose up. If she was a house cat with no other option she probably would get hungry and cave and eat it but as an indoor/outdoor cat she just goes off to find better!😁 she came to me like that so I can't really change her and keep her home, besides, there's an old lady up the road she visits who adores her!

@@alyanome It exists. China manufactures a huge number of products. Both good ones with proper QC and bad ones that are shoddy. Sure it takes some time to find it, but generally it's worth it if you're paying much much less. But the real problem is, these two products are not very practical.

I love Deborah, she’s the only reason I watch this show.

This guy is an inventor, all he needed was a flow of money.. notice how he said it's only the pet products included in the business, I'm sure he has many ideas & now with this new cash flow he can pursue them

Really happy for the dude, he was on point and quick as hell. Low stake and low risk investment I don't get why the other dragons didn't see it viable.

This man is one hell of a salesman. He was charismatic, confident, but not arrogant, and very quick thinking. For every challenge they presented, he had a quick, clear, and well thought out answer. I envy his mind. I'm no expert on investments, but I do believe he deserved a change for his passion and charisma. I wish him much success in the future.
