No. The fact is, they are doctors, not developers nor strategists. They had a great idea to basically try to centralize all doctors into one huge database where patients can find a doctor and hospital systems can communicate with them. it takes much more than just creating an app where doctors enroll to have their information input.
I thought doctors carried pagers so that they could be reached in emergencies. Why would a social media app for doctors allow them to get rid of their pagers?

I agree, I honestly don't know what they were thinking. Beepers serve an essential purpose in the medical industry for doctors, nurses, and admins. There's a reason they've been around since the 80s; no need to take off your gloves to use them, easily accessible while wearing PPE, weeks of battery life, etc.... The beeper is the ONE thing they shouldn't have compared this product against.

I like how only one doctor answered questions. The other, too scared.
Hospitals use beepers because they’re cheap. They’re also light weight, easy to carry, and the doctor doesn’t get overwhelmed with information. For their doctors, it would be a nightmare to have patients sending them direct, instant messages.
@JSSTyger

Thats what I was thinking. A single primary care physician can have over 2,000 patients. Doctors are NOT looking to be bombarded by patients' texts. This is one of the reasons doctors have assistants. You call the office with your concern and they relay the message.

While it does look like Mark is bullying the Armini brothers, he's making it very clear to them (like any other business). The Armini Brothers are trying to use buzz words, thinking the Sharks don't understand what they are saying. Reality is, the Sharks do know what the brothers are saying. Repeatedly, they have asked for the numbers and the plan to grow the business. But neither of the brothers addressed it. Kudos to Mark Cuban for giving them the message straight in the face.
Marketing a product and knowing what a product does is different! They thought they learnt enough; but well, there is the whole world to study now! Thanks Mr. Cuban!
When Kevin ask “How do I make money with this?” That’s when it gets real
I am a physician and I do not understand their vision. Is it to attract new patients, converse with established patients, share interesting medical information, allow physicians to interact with one another? “Social Media” does not work well in medicine because of strict HIPPA privacy laws. Most people cannot see a physician unless that MD participates in their insurance plan which adds complexity to the equation.

5:51 he predicted what elon would do to twitter 😂
I wouldn't say he bullied them. He was just pointing out their garbage product and presentation.

Lol he didnt need to go up and shake their hands just to tell them they were the worst
They should prepare big time. It doesn't mean that if they're doctors, they already know everything including the business space.
I work in govt regulations and companies have been trying to build similar platforms for years. It’s nearly impossible to work given all the current regulations about privacy and security. Also healthcare systems don’t want to work together/share patient information, so there’s that.
Mark you don't understand, they are bringing social media to Doctors 😂😂😂
They really just circled around the questions being asked which are very valid questions.
For the first time, Barbara opens her mouth...and says something logical.😂
Sorry, but when you have a product & you say that it's only in the alpha stage with only 50 users, then no it's not gonna go well. On top of that, I do agree that this can become a huge liability issue because of the fact that they're trying to get in contact with the clients without having them come in person and on top of that, there's a very good likelihood that someone can easily hack the system and 'act' like a doctor and easily fool someone into something that they don't need or want.
Kevin has no heart, but Mark was the one who got up and insulted them to their face 🤦🏿♀️

They deserved it. If Mark had not done that, then next time also they would be giving same pitch to other investors. Mark actually helped them to prepare better.

@@yatinkumar4002 Exactly. Buzz words won't do anything against the Sharks or an investor. The Armini doctors are educated enough to know that they need to already know their audience. Kudos to Mark Cuban making it clear.

These 2 "doctors" do not even understand how social media works.

Why is doctors in quotation marks? They ARE doctors. The only thing questionable is whether they are good at sales

@@swedishshortsnout5610 Most doctors aren't except if they are trying to sell their own procedure to a patient. Which in most cases it is easy because the patient needs the medical treatment in most cases.
Considering they are doctors, i cannot believe they come up with such a horrible product
