sometimes just hearing music and seeing characters triggers something in your whole body like an intense nostalgia trip. this game does that for me. awesome run.

I haven't seen or played this game in almost 20 years since I gave the cartridge to a friend, thanks so much! I remember every single scene and location!

Couldn’t tell you how many countless hours I spent on the toilet pooping playing this game til my legs went numb, ah great memories

Aaaaahhhh..those were the days. Bought my first green gameboy color with my own savings when I was 7, couldn’t afford to buy Pokémon, shop guy recommended this instead, and I bought it reluctantly. Other kids with gameboys were playing Pokémon and I was playing this. I was sad at first, but it turned out to be my favorite game from the gameboy :) The other kids with Pokémon were actually more interested with this game when I showed them.

ikr?? me and my cousind were looking for a digimon game for some reason and we couldn't find it and we bought this instead because it didn't look bad.. i'm still playing about 20 years later cause it's one of my favorite games of all time :)

I played this on my childhood. Around 6 hours a day. My favorite team here is Servant, Rex, Unicorn.

I had completely forgotten this games name and googled “Pokemon but more fun gameboy” and this came up haha

dude this game… i still got it. I always went for megadraks. I loved their artwork once i had 3 of them in my team xD a friend of mine and me literally printed out the tables for the breeding and tried to get the insane ? monsters but it was so insanely difficult hahahaha good times

Sat and watched nearly all of this. Great work :) Learned a few cool tactics

Loved this game. My final team for a 100% run wound up being my Unicorn (bred from a Drakslime), Rainbird, and Goldking

i played this game to death as a kid. i remember all my monsters in my party had max stats. i used to grind the black slimes in one of the last dungeons, constantly pairing my monsters but i never made it to the last boss species monster. my catridge broke and i wasnt able to safe anymore...

very nice! this is my favorite gme of all time. I had more than 100 hours in this when I finally stopped playing.

I like how the move "Blaze Air" sounds like Entei's cry from pokemon

great monsters in the early stage of the game were unicorn, blizzardry into rainhawk (easiest to breed early with npcs), digster (the one out of the hidden gate), mad knight, battle rex... later in the game i played pizzaro, sidoh, zoma. but i also always had a king leo in my party because i liked this monster the most. wabobo was also funny.

I love this game!

What where trying to do at @1:56:56 when you pacing around the hole on floor 4 after activating the repellent?

Emulator,bout to head down memory lane.

Me some 20+ hours into the game : 2:45 hours? this can't be right. i barely managed to win the s rank fight.. also me after skipping to 2 hours : ..holy shit i'm playing the game wrong

DWM> Every pokemon game ever. I used a reaper early on, and the moment the Madcat couldn't get it with leg sweep I discovered each monster has unique resistances. I used to bandstand this game so hard that it was better than pokemon a casual speedrun I Rush a Grizzly, get a bean man and a unicorn. -- bean man learns map magic but my runs were only casual this was fast.

Anyone know where i can download the emulator for this? All the popular download sites dont seem to have it anymore

yungsmokeout i used the have the same, except Divinegon instead of Trumpeter lol. Legendary team, they were all like +30 or something and I could get almost all their stats to 999. Unkillable with all the strongest skills.

Yeah the metal slimes are silly powerful and immune to everything besides lure dance and giga slash Early on wyverns, unicorns good for aoe, heals and revives, metal draks and trumpeter for mid game, then the metal king/ king leo for big hitters for master tamer true final boss.

what would your team look like on a normal run through, i tend to always go for 3 grizzlys bred from unicorns meaning they all have amazing attack & hp, revive, heal & antidote, beat all the gates & tornys but get bored before getting 100% completion, the only boss ive ever had is dracolord and dracolord2
