As I make my way through making my hypothetical themes for the Dragon Ball Super Manga, I couldn't complete my collection without writing something for the protectors of the galaxy, The Galactic Patrol. I really wanted this to feel like one of those moments in Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z where they feature an insert song such as Moeru Heart De Red Ribbon Gun wo Yattsukero, or Umnei No Hi, something Hironobu Kageyama could sing. Usually I cover those songs and make them instrumental with a guitar or horns playing the melody, but this way it's the other way round :) I can imagine the lyrics being about protecting the universe, and never giving up on it. If there's any Japanese songwriters out there....
We were first introduced to the Galactic Patrol through Jaco, but in the Moro Arc we get to meet more of them, including Merus. I've already written a theme for Merus, and I've based some of the theme I wrote off my unofficial theme for him. You can check out here:

I had a lot of fun making this track. I had a real potent daydream about composing for dragon ball while doing so. Since it’s so incredibly unlikely, making these unofficial themes is my way of living that dream out for myself, and sharing the music of those dreams with you.

Yo, I'm not a fan of unofficial OSTs of future arcs/stories. But.. Man... What the actual F?! This is literally the 3rd time I'm listening to this in a row while imagining the Galactic Patrol kicking low tier villians ass! Amazing!

I’m usually not a fan of them either, I don’t tend to seek them out or listen to them. Most of the ones I hear tend to diverge from the Dragon Ball sound too much. That said, making them on the other hand, is such a fun experiment for me 😁 I really try to think about Kikuchi, Smith, Sumitomo and most recently, Satō, and all the others to see what a blend between them all would be like. So I’m really glad you enjoyed this one 🥰💜

I really liked the touch of the Merus theme you made a few years back in this song! Can't wait for the Moro one next week!

This is really good! It reminds me of something from DBS Superhero or a Sonic game. I’m loving this one! 🥰 ❤ It actually reminds me of The Exiled Phase 2, an unused track in a fangame called Sonic Omens. Happy fathers day! 🎉

This is so clean! I hear some inspiration from the instruments used in Vegeta's blue evolution theme. Also, am I going crazy, or did you also get inspired from the 5D's jp soundtrack? This tone totally fits in that world! I dig it!

Dragon ball super ended with the superhero movie two years ago, but there is going to be a spinoff series called dragon ball ball daima (or magic) that still is set to release this year but dates can change at any moment.

I ain’t gone lie lol I never thought someone would be weirder looking than jaco in the galactic patrol force, especially with that guy in the front that looks like a Smurf with antennas on his ear 😂😂 and I can never imagine goku or vegeta joining jaco being galactic space cops but I will admit goku does look kinda dope in that outfit. Vegeta will most likely do a frieza demonstration pull a mass genocide card and make the entire galactic patrol extinct before ever joining or putting that ridiculous outfit on like a true saiyan. Despite all that this is a good fan imagination art, I hope one day we’ll get to see more about the galactic patrol.
