Those only apply to SSJ3 and SSJ4. SSJ2 is literally just slightly spiked hair with lighting. Other than Gohan, everyone else’s SSJ2 look was almost unnoticeable from SSJ1 sometimes. At that points I’ll rather take SSJG with the slimmer body design, or SSJB with it’s beautiful aura (same with God).

you guys dont get it, toriyamas idea all along was to come full circle goku should look in the end just how he looked in the beginning representing the eternal snake of infinity. And with perfect ultra instinct he allmost came full circle even if just design wise. his story came to a very subtile conclusion that only a few people are able to understand and its also a difficult story to tell since words and pictures cant do justice to it D;

Sun Wukong, the character Goku was based off, was said to have 72 transformations, probably based on the 72 arts of shaolin.

Enraged SSJ2 was also shown by Gohan in the Cell saga. His hair changed a lot but in the Buu saga where its stated he doesnt have his old anger his hair didnt change much

Yeah idk if that's anything other than a ssj2 though. Like in dbs manga chapter 15 future Trunks uses a powered up ssj2 state to spar with ssj3 goku. While a lot of people do see this as a separate form, I think its just ssj2 and Trunks was initially just holding back. Same with vegeta against Beerus in BoG. I think its just ssj2 but with a big rage boost is all

I could understand why SSJ2 is underrated; appearance-wise it only adds lightning and messes with your front bangs/makes your hair subtlely spikier(unless you're not Son Gohan at the age of 9 years old). Plus, it immediately got overshadowed in the sagas after it was introduced, same with the fate as the original SSJ. I mean, as soon as SSJ2 came along, it was getting bodied by Cell after he explodes but regenerates. Then, in the saga after, its original user gets a transformation that outshines it (Potential Unleashed/Ultimate/Mystic) and another user of it achieves an entirely new upgrade to the base form (SSJ3) and the third user's uses of it aren't even acknowledged because of a third-party power boost getting all the credit for it (Majin Vegeta). Plus, as soon as Majin Saga is finished, SSJ2 gets power-crept by god forms. Ol' Super Saiyan Two had it rough.

I have no issues with pants appearing out of nowhere. We already have at least 4 other instances of clothes appearing from nothing (Piccolo clothes beam, potara, fusion dance, and Majin absorption), so I think it’s fine.

I believe super saiyan 4 is the best super saiyan form because it is the pinnacle of super saiyan and their hair doesn't go all shiny and yellow and golden and stuff but It's days that in the color of the hair of an ozaro

Honestly, I think Ultra Ego is my favorite form for Vegeta. Just this raw potential of a saiyan prince given the power of gods to truly flourish. I’ve heard people complain about the name since nowadays ego has that association with being self centered, but it also basically just means the true self. As accustomed to earth life as Vegeta has become, he’s still Vegeta, a battle hungry saiyan prince craving the destruction of everything in his way, and Ultra Ego targets that, throwing everything away and stripping himself down to his true self, or his literal ultra ego. And even with all that, it’s shown that he can struggle to maintain the form because while it is his “true self”, it isn’t him entirely. He does still care about things other than battle now, and I find that really interesting. Even without getting into it’s power, it’s just the perfect form for Vegeta as a character. Anyone can hypothetically become any other form, so long as you’re a saiyan, and especially ultra instinct as instinct is inherent to all living things. But Ultra Ego is unique and personal to Vegeta, more so than most other forms in the series.

Another one for the lightning round!! This is the mastered form of Dark Super Saiyan God, which of course from the same game, Dragon Ball Legends. The transformation is the most recent to add to the counter, called "Super Saiyan God: Dark Ki Unleashed," used exclusively by Giblet. The form spikes the user's hair in a similar way to Super Saiyan 2, and surrounds them in both the red aura of a Super Saiyan God, as well as the purple darkness of dark ki Sorry, I know this video was made WAY before that, but I honestly was a sucker for this transformation when it happened

Super Sayian will always be my favorite. I love with that my boy Trunks still keeps it relevant and on power to all the new transformations today. Great video by the way, I love all the looks at everything unknown like pseudo sayian and for all the crazy forms from Heroes people don't know. Some might think your trying to squeeze forms but I definitely agree on like all of these, I mean its already admitted stuff like Ssj is different then Super Vegeta, even though its still Ssj the same.

So I have a theory about Super Saiyan Rage. They didn't go into it as much in the Anime, but Trunks was officially apprenticed to the Supreme Kai while training for the conflict with Buu. In the Manga, rather than SS Rage, this came out as the ability to heal others the way Kabito could, but what if in the Anime, his apprenticeship granted him a degree of Godly Ki that came out in the form of Super Saiyan Rage? I know one major hole in this theory is that Gohan also trained with the Supreme Kai, but I don't think he was actually apprenticed to him the way Trunks was. Kabito gave him the clothes and all, but that was more out of annoyance that he was dressed in a vulger manor and he was giving him an outfit that was more appropriate to visiting the Holy World of the Kais. On the other hand, maybe Gohan was granted some Godly Ki, but after the ritual with the Elder Kai he was never pushed to the point where he needed to draw upon it.

@nomercyinc6783 What's your point? Gohan's potential being unlocked only means that he already had power that he couldn't access until the Old Kai released it. He wasn't given any new power, it was already there. In the Super Manga, Trunks was explicitly stated to have been apprenticed to the Supreme Kai, and that granted him powers and abilities that are inherent to the office. It was a plot point because he was able to heal Vegeta after they ran out of senzu. What I'm proposing is that he may also have been granted a small amount of God Ki as part of his apprenticeship. It has nothing to do with having his inherent potential unlocked.

For me, SSJ Rage was supposed to be a sort of evolution of SSJ2 for Hybrid Saiyans. Since Trunks was the only one to unlock it and it came from the rage he felt at Zamasu and Goku Black in the future telling him that everything was all his fault. The anger he had sort of broke the limits he had before and gave him this transformation.

Im not questioning or invalidating your fighting abilities, but from my experience in martial arts I could very easily fall into muscle memory when doing forms/practice. I would think of it as a form of meditation, but in reality I was just entering something known as flow state. When it comes to actual fights, quick analysis and execution DOES means everything. But if you can enter flow state (or in dragon ball ultra instinct) you'll be 100% focused on the battle and it'll be like your moving your body instinctually. Ultra Instinctually, if you would LMAO

@@Keegstar flow state of mind/the zone as some call it, is pretty much identical to the Zen concept Mushin no shin or mind without a mind if translated to English Falling into muscle memory is not a bad thing if you have the experience to back it up which is why there is sparing to drill stuff into your muscle memory. However you must be careful to not drill bad practices into your muscle memory A mistake a lot of sports martial artists do is always going all out in their practice and training and sparing as you need to learn when to hold back. Reason why it is a mistake is because when you get into the sparing part you could hurt your sparing partner by accident because you don't know how to hold back, and if you are a black belt that is even worse as the sparing match is pointless then as you are treating it as a real match to win not a learning opportunity or teaching opportunity And if you are doing a belt test then you are not really evaluating the teste's skill or knowledge of the kata up to that point you are just forcing them into a perma guarding stance or turtling. Which is why holding back during sparing is something you need to drill in for sports martial arts, especially if you are point sparing as all you need to do is just make contact and you get the point you don't need any power into it at all just speed By the way i don't like point sparing as it is a mockery of martial arts, as you throw everything you learned out the window except for a counter attack or two and just blitz for the point. Like i am all for gamifying but there are some things that are just too far as you have to break it up and go to your corner once a judge has called that one of you got a point

Can't forget the hair pants one grows in SSJ4, it's very important. It's not magic like the fusions, it has a to be hair.

I like false super Saiyan. It's theorized that the reason it happens is because the user IS strong enough to transform into a super Saiyan, but emotionally they aren't there yet. Like, they're just not pushed far enough to fully snap and let the rage overtake them. So it's neat in my opinion if that IS the case.

I believe that goku will eventually master the full ultra instinct form. Whether it is true mastered ultra instinct or something above that. I have a theory that MUI is still incomplete and its more like he's able to use the UI properly instead of it being mastered. And i think that once goku achieve the True Version of UI that the angels use, it will be fully white instead of silvery. It would make sense since the silvery colour of MUI could hint that it is still imcomplete which TUI proves that and also the angels have fully white hair. It can also homage the first ssj form which was first drawn completely white instead of golden yellow. This form provides the perfect balance of himself and Ui, His instinct, and his true self being similar to whis.

Correction. The pseudo super sayan was also seen by vegeta on namek. When he screems one of his memorable lines, "I AM A SUPER SAYAN" at freeza and then proceeds to miss 100 ki blasts. You see vegeta in the distance with the golden aura around his silhouette but still with black hair. It was a great scene. I always wondered what it was called. But yea goku wasn't the only one.

Super Saiyan 2 and God are honestly the most underrated forms in the series. 2 is my personal favorite and for good reason. Sure, it’s not much of a design change, but Gohan’s transformation is one of the best moments in the whole franchise. The emotions, the culmination of Gohan’s character at this point, and the mystery surrounding Super Saiyan 2. The form didn’t even have a name when it was first revealed, it was just known as a form above Super Saiyan. Before Super Saiyan 2, the idea of going beyond Super Saiyan was unheard of. Sure, there would be different types of base Super Saiyan, but it would always be some variation of the base form. 2 was the first instance of a real new Super Saiyan form and I feel like people forget that. While God doesn’t have the same amount of impact, it’s design is definitely one of the better ones in the series. It’s subtle, but the form just looks softer, more tranquil. It’s very pleasing to look at once you notice the subtle changes. It feels like less of an evolution and more like a transcension of Super Saiyan into this godly form. The softer look could also be a reference to the softer style Toriyama had before Dragon Ball turned into the action series it’s known as.

SSJ4 has to be the original SSJ or legendary super saiyan. Hear me out. Vegeta the Prince of all saiyan’s knew about the legend of the super saiyan but nobody has ever fully scene a super saiyan for so many years. Vegeta, Napa, and Raditz all had their tails. When Raditz meet Goku he told him where was his tail and that it was the source of their power to transform etc. Vegeta only believed Goku’s transformation to be the legendary super saiyan as Vegeta was dying. He believed in the prophecy so much that Goku could have just tapped into a different level of power sort of like a perfected false super saiyan. In the end there is no true transformation with someone with a tail still and

When the Super Saiyan was imagined before Goku achieved it, the legendary Super Saiyan was illustrated as an Ozaru silhouette with a golden hue. Guess what form you achieve right before SSJ4? Vegeta also refers to Goku as wielding power that should only be achieved in a great ape form or something to that extent while they were on Namek. Story wise it could fit.

Missed Vegeta's Majin form and controlled Majin form. While not technically new "Saiyan" forms, I think they are kind of similar to Goku's Kaio-Ken.

I think it should be noted that in Super Dragon Ball Heroes Cumber seemingly has a unique Super Saiyan 1 and Golden Ape since both are Orange as opposed to the yellow of other Super Saiyan forms

What's sad and funny is that at some point this video will be outdated with more forms coming. Especially since Dragon Ball is continuing to make more media

Yeah, most likely. It'll be interesting to see when that'll happen and if it'll warrant enough new forms to make an updated video.

Remember when transformations in anime used to be so godamn hype, take the ssj3 transformation as an example

12:56 Actually there is a comment made by Goku on the anime where he says that his (Trunks) ki at the moment when he make the final strike with his sword resembles the genki dama. I don't know if this counts for something, but it's there.

I think they should us the idea of super Saiyan 4 for the new broly as he is more primal in power and the form fits

My theory is that dbs affects the AF timeline and super saiyan 5 is actually ultra instinct mixed with super saiyan 4

Super saiyan three is the best form as long as you don't use it like goku did and instead use it with vegeta's preference for ranged attacks because that is were its strength shines By the way I theorized that if you have a tail when you turn ssj3 the forms hair would be shorter and you could use the form longer ( basically the tail is necessary to truly master ssj

@@rrose9161 There isn't any sources that confirms it neither other than XenoVerse games tho. Also, Super Vegetta is a transformation in those games, and we now for sure that's not canon so...

@@Gabu_ exactly he was so focused on using melee like punches and kicks without using ki blast ( the only ki blast he used in ssj3 was none other than the Kamehameha)

False ssj is just regular ssj, but with the original design that Toriyama sent to Toei to make ssj have its debut in the movie. He then changed his mind on the design at the last second and made the hair white to save time, but the movie already came out

tbh the next logical conclusion would be a fusion between Vegata in his Ultra ego form and Goku in his True ultra instinct form. Mixing the relentless and careless nature of Ego with the focus and precision of UI. I could imagine it having a quite menacing transformation, a silent composed but never ending assault that only gets stronger if any counter strikes lands. Would make a for a neat one tbh. Maybe call it "Ultra Violet"

I personally like SS4 form. It looks like his max transformation that combines human and great ape.

oh yeah SSJ3 so devilish looking. Our dude must have been smoking something when he came up with that :P

I sincerely cannot wait to see a crimson ozaru. Great ape form using god ki instead of normal ki. The ape should be skinner like the normal form.

I mean... Great Ape isn't a "Super Saiyan" form, so I don't really know why that's in the list, same with the Tuffle forms, beast gohan, ultra instinct/ego etc etc, these are separate forms that don't necessarily require you to A) Be a Saiyan and B) Be a Super Saiyan

I mean, Ultra Instinct technically is since apart from Saiyans other species doesn't change their looks when using ultra instinct.

Also it's explicitly stated and shown that gohan needs to transform into his ultimate form as seem in super and superhero so he didn't " stack" it or anything. He was in base

Which is completely stupid. The Old Kai explicitly tells Gohan that the Ultimate form is better than super saiyajin in every way, and causes less strain on the user's body.

I actually didn't know that False SSJ came before SSJ in the manga. Thought it was only the anime it preceded.
