Frieza is an absolute monster bro. I'm hoping he makes a surprise entry into the Heeters Arc of the manga. He has the potential, patience and cleverness to surpass Goku and Vegeta entirely if they're not careful. He's already made it clear he won't be letting Beerus have everything go his way eventually. The possibilities for his character as a villain are limitless at the moment.

I would still place Vegeta above Frieza personally. With Frieza, his durability is greater than most. But he lacks the power to overwhelm Vegeta and Toppo, imo. Power is kind of like an attack stat and durability is a defense stat. Vegeta has greater power, but much weaker defense. Frieza on the other hand, can survive being just a single eye ball, being sliced in half, and tank attacks from Broly for almost an hour. Frieza can basically take more of a beating, but not overpower people as well as Vegeta.

There is no solid evidence in dragon ball for having 1 Stat be significantly higher than all others, it's simply if you are stronger, you are faster more durable as well. In fact your Attack potency and your durability have to be relative. If you punch someone with the force of a universe exploding your arm has to be able to take that level of damage as well or your arm will explode. So there is Zero Precident for That sort of power scaling in dragon ball. However that being said there is a Precedent for Frieza being able to take much more or a beating than normal Beings in his League,

And not only that, literally look at Dyspo he is literally an example of someone having a so singular stat be higher than their others. The manga disrespected him and Krillin even more. The fact that Toriyama and whoever is writing the manga at this point can’t write side characters worth a damn in an anime world with shows like Jujutsu Kaisen, Bleach, Fire Force, Naruto (I hate Naruto) and so many others that can still find important fighting roles for side characters is unacceptable.

Dragon Ball has failed to do that with the introduction of power levels or giving other characters their own boosts. They've essentially said "Unless you're a Saiyan, you're useless." It's bad writing.

The only ones I don’t agree with is hitt being a bit too low and I would switch around vegeta and frieza but otherwise then that I love this list great job

I don’t think that jiren was stronger when he fought frieza 17 and Goku even frieza said he does not feel that overwhelming power he felt before sfter is fight with MUI Goku

I’d like to think that a big factor of Frieza being really durable is the fact that he was dead. Like in the kid buu saga vegeta took a beating and was still in one piece. Not saying Frieza isn’t durable, dude survived namek exploding, but being dead helps lol

It's not a new thing for characters to be more durable while dead in Dragonball. Shit even Chiatzu when he was first killed ij the Nameless saga wouldve died from Piccolo but didn't due to being dead. Again this doesn't take away how durable frieza is, or even Vegeta, we know he is from the Namek saga, and Vegeta is from all of Z lmao, it's just a fair point to bring up

Exactly, tournament of power was basically the most talked about anime in late 2017 and early 2018. 2018 was a pretty fire year for anime in general now that I think about. There was Naruto and Saskue vs Momoshiki, Luffy vs Katakuri, DBS broly movie, One Punch Man S2, MHA season 3, and so much more. 2018 is so nostalgic for me.

By the end of the tournament, base Goku and final form frieza who would logically be exhausted at that point were performing better against Jiren than 17. So while I rather not have an opinion for obvious reasons, every side has merit

@@reptilian_geneticist The Androids don't get weaker, literally they don't, him taking damage and not being able to take on Jiren was literally up to durability and the overwhelming force Jiren was pushing forth. 17 is an Android model with limitless energy and there has been nothing, not even narrative to disprove that. Even if I were to take you at your word, you'd still have to prove that he was weakened to the point where base Goku and Frieza were just outright more impressive than him and unfortunately there's no proof of that

Naw chuck I have to call cap on that placement of Frieza. Frieza got bodied by Toppo and Toppo got bodied by Vegeta you literally don’t need nothing more to put Vegeta above Frieza. As for your argument with Frieza growing stronger and fighting an exhausted Jiren not only was Frieza in the process of getting packed up by the exhausted Jiren Vegeta fought a Jiren who was not exhausted and held his own against him. Also the zenkai boost is not something that every character has that’s only an ability Saiyans has and last time I checked Frieza was not a saiyan. And let’s say this exhausted Jiren was some how stronger than non exhausted Jiren and Frieza was not getting packed up by him according to your logic this would make Frieza stronger than MUI GOKU yeah I don’t see that. I’ve heard Seth also speculate that frieza surpassed his true golden form in base by the final fight with Jiren. Kinda makes no sense to me. I agree Vegeta>Toppo>Frieza as of the tournament

I would disagree with Frieza's placement and put Vegeta above him. I even would put Frieza below Toppo. Otherwise good list.

I highly doubt jiren got any stronger when he took his last stand against U7. They were all exhausted so it's fair to say that his hits had less effect than normal. Why assume he's stronger? caused he powered up? I don't recall anyone saying he's gotten more powerful. Regardless, if we're talking about power ain't no way frieza is stronger than vegeta or toppo, although his durability is great. I am way more inclined to believe that frieza survived that attack because of the strict "no killing" rule, rather than toppo being unable to take him down especially if kamehamehas can kill him.

He did get stronger against MUI as he broke his limits but I agree with u that the jiren frieza fought was completely exhausted from his very recent fight from MUI like the guy literally a second ago was about to be eliminated. It makes no sense for him to scale above his other earlier selves especially when he was having a mental breakdown in that fight which frieza capitalized on. Frieza also states his punches are much weaker so that doesn't help the case of him being stronger then the one that fought the saiyans and android trio.

The anime and manga for dragon ball super have been numerous times confirmed to be entirely separate continuity so the manga is irrelevant when speaking of the dragon ball super anime . An example is that in the dbs manga Gohan stalemated kefla at full power ..in the anime Gohan would be smacked by kefla and Gohan essentially couldn't do much to any of the top tier fighters .

29:15 actually you're forgetting that Goku already overpowered Jiren a few moments before the rage. He started to get hits on him and knocked him into the wall which enraged Jiren, causing him to try to attack his friends which made Goku overpower him even more.

You need to do this for different types of manga and anime I love power level rankings like this.

Jiren hardly fought and starting meditating mid tournament, goku battled pretty much throughout the entire tournament and even when UI expired he carried on fighting in base and finally SSJ so you would argue goku has the most endurance.

@@dmob39 not really it was very clear that goku had him on the ropes hence y jiren freaked out and attacked the audience, it was also a battle of ideologies. Goku became stronger because of his friends and always valued that he wasn't alone while jiren was the complete opposite, jiren hated the fact his path was the incorrect one. Goku didn't really get a friendship boost as he was literally fighting for his life and ended up getting back up to fight not to mention from the very beginning of the fight it's clear he's fighting for his universe and everyone. If we gonna say goku got a friendship boost then we can say that to the majority of the cast since almost all of them had similar if not outright same moment.

@@xXSonTJXx because Blue Evo vegeta rivalled a Blue kaioken x20 Goku that had already surpassed UI Omen 1.... and regular Blue Vegeta was rivaling UI omen 1 Goku when he used the final flash against Jiren... and then Vegeta gets Blue Evo which is at least a 20× multiplier because its rivaling Blue kaioken x20... so Blue Evo Vegeta is at least 20x the spirit bomb while SSJ2 Kefla is only 2x....

@@xXSonTJXx to be honest every single fighter was getting stronger from the tournament. And while she was getting stronger so was everyone else. I do believe freezer 17 and Toppo was stronger than her. Toppo is a guarentee as he warped the void and was capable of going somewhat toe to toe with evolution and 17 w/ Freeza. That’s guaranteed higher than Kefla even in SSJ2. Freeza is guaranteed as well because he was able to take on a bit of Jiren who was still capable of doing impressive feats. And 17 was able of damaging Jiren, nullifying his blast and thinking some of his hits. I actually find this lost to be quite accurate.

Frieza got his ass destroyed by GOD Toppo and Blue Evo Vegeta beat GOD Toppo but you place Frieza higher than both of them 😂🤦‍♂️.... yeah man that doesn't make any sense at all... besides that nonsense, this was a good video 🙌

The writing in super isn't the best as 17 doesn't get weaker, so you could argue Frieza's above both

@@stratus2010 #17 was damaged and weakened from that damage. Its clearly stated by #18.... #17 still had unlimited energy but he was operating at a weaker power level. So yeah its just NOT true that #17 didn't get weaker... its actually a debating narrative that people frequently try to use but its just incorrect

One thing people fail to bring up in the Superman vs Goku debate, is the fact that Goku is insanely more skilled at fighting then Superman. Superman as a kid was living on a farm. Goku as a kid was defeating adult martial artist in world tournaments.

Another thing people fail to do is what I call "narrative equality." Basically what I mean is that Goku has only ever had 1 author, being toriyama, whereas Superman has had many over many decades so anyone participating in the debate can chuck in their own interpretation of Superman to weigh the scales in his favor. If they truly want to get the answer, then under my rules they'd have to take the original and 1st iteration of a character for a debate; meaning original 1940's era Superman, which EVERY other one is based off of. And that Superman definitely loses against Goku.

Superman had Ultra Instinct before Goku had it. Superman’s Torquasam Ro and Torquasam Vo which is peak Superman plus he knows pressure points and he can sundip. Not saying Superman knows more martial arts, but he does know a lot and he has way more stamina and speed than Goku and way more concrete feats. People say Rebirth Superman doesn’t have any feats even though he’s the combination of both New 52 and post crisis

@@achimpanzee9210 Which is what most people do. And decidedly no, they are not all the same character as each author has a different interpretation of what "Superman" is. "Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound" became flying, "faster than a speeding train" became FTL. Take the Original and 1st interpretation of Superman vs the 1st and only interpretation of Goku.

@@lxfcrt4971 Hit had more speed than goku as well. Goku's way of getting around it was leaving his stomach unguarded knowing hit would speed blitz for it and countered. And Hit was not only fast but able to time skip. Meaning goku could out smart a faster superman the same way

I have a few problems with this video, which I think aren't usually issues that your videos have. 1: This video is about ranking the characters in the Tournament of power, not Dragonball Super as a whole. 2: Frost actively pointed out in his fight with Roshi that he was actively trying as hard as possible to _not_ kill Roshi. Even when Roshi made a mad rush to attack him, Frost was trying to hold back enough that Roshi wouldn't die so he wouldn't get eliminated. 3: Cabba I'd argue is *stronger* than Caulifla by the end of the ToP, as Frieza commented that he couldn't believe he "needed to waste his stamina" turning Golden just to take out an exhausted SSJ2 Cabba. This means that SSJ2 Cabba is outright *stronger* than Base Frieza (I'll get to what this means for Caulifla later), although it doesn't mean he's strong enough to make the U7 Saiyans unleash their God Modes, only that he's =/> their Base forms. 4: Caulifla was nowhere near as strong as Kale, and this was proven most clearly with the fact Goku had way more trouble with Kale and Caulifla got OHKO'd by the very same Ki Blast that Kale deflected. The reason I'd rate her below Cabba is because she challenged Frieza (who had just eliminated Cabba earlier), and Frieza laughed her off before charging a death ball Goku had to talk him out of so that she wouldn't be eliminated. In essence, Frieza laughed her off in Base and everyone else was yelling at Caulifla that she stands no chance, meaning SSJ2 Caulifla 5: I'd argue Kale is still weaker than SSJ3 Tired Goku, seeing as she was terrified of the power he showed in that form, but Goku went God mode to help with stamina recovery since, y'know, it has healing properties. 6: Gohan was straight up able to land more attacks against both Goku Blue and Max-Speed Dyspo than vice versa which is the biggest respect we can put to his name. 7: Jiren straight-up said in episode 111 after Hit was defeated that "All the fighters I am needed for are now gone". Considering in episode 125 he straight-up knew Toppo had the power of Destruction, and he saw Hit's fight with Dyspo, this means just based off episode 104 alone, Jiren was saying Hit was too big of a threat for Toppo and Dyspo to handle even in their most powerful forms. The fact Toppo and Belmod both watched that fight as well heavily implies Toppo and/or Belmod both knew this to be the case as well. 8: The reason Dyspo didn't use his Max-Speed mode against Hit is because unlike with Frieza there was no way the added speed was gonna help counter someone who can read him like a book and already had him beat. Hit had him beat before Kunshi stepped in no matter what Dyspo tried, and they both knew it. 9: 17 was definitely capable, given all his feats like taking Vegeta-level attacks and negating a blast from Jiren, but it was made very clear he was basically overclocking himself to take on things way above his pay grade, with Aniraza being the clearest example because 17 blatantly hurt himself just attacking his weak spot. Tearing Jiren's clothes was also meant to be a moment where he caught Jiren off-guard. Also, the "playing around" Frieza referred to was likely moreso about 17's stalling tactic than him _actually_ having the power to eliminate Justice Toppo. 10: Toppo only got beaten by 17 and Frieza because he literally put *all* his power into that blast to take down 17, leaving him open to Frieza. Also given how in episode 123 Goku Blue takes a punch from Jiren that was stronger than the rage lasers that could've killed Episode 116 UI Goku, that means Toppo is well over 20x stronger than Kefla. 11: You could actually argue based on episode 128 that Vegeta is massively stronger than Goku, as a Vegeta who couldn't even turn SSJ still managed to give Goku the power to go Blue. I wouldn't say it myself, but the argument _is there._ Also hi Base at the start of the ToP was the highest out of all the characters with transformations in U7, as he had gone into the HTC to train beforehand, and this is best shown with his deadlocked match against Justice Toppo where Goku needed Blue Kaioken just to keep up with a serious Toppo. 12: Oh boy, this is the big one. First off, you said Frieza was Blue tier, which he blatantly wasn't, as in episode 95 Beerus and Whis declared True Golden Frieza was equal to Early-ToP Goku Blue. Not even Blue Kaioken, jus Blue. Given how True Golden Frieza is Frieza with a mastered Golden form, and all the evidence we see in ROF that the normal Golden form was far above Blue in terms of transformations (like, 2-3x stronger kind of a difference), Base Early-ToP Goku would shit on Base Frieza. There's no actual evidence Frieza got any stronger until the very end of the ToP and even that is questionable. This is also how we know that Goku was holding back massively in the first half of the tournament, as a SSJ2 Tired Goku who had to resort to diplomacy with Frieza would have to be vastly weaker than his Early-ToP Base form. This puts even Mastered Berserker Kale below Base Goku, and proves that Goku was holding back in episode 100. In episode 111 Frieza outright states he gave Goku energy because he didn't wanna fuck with Jiren but UI could.

Frieza's Base is really annoying to scale. In ROF we see that Frieza was losing to base God essence Goku and beat him in Golden, this implies golden is above blue in multipliers, in the pre top frieza in golden was equal to Goku in blue this implies base Goku>Base Frieza. In the TOP we see Base Frieza fight Dyspo who was throwing hands with hit forced Goku to go blue this would imply that Golden frieza is FAR superior to Blue Goku from the early top yet we know they were equal, did they retcone base Goku to not be base Frieza level? Or did they nerf Golden to be a small amp.

@@ACertainMan that's the part I have a problem with too, so my only explanation is that Frieza, having had time to observe and staying out of any real fights was more prepared and well-rested, which combined with his afterlife body and already insane durability allowed him to handle Dyspo who got assblasted by Hit and Maji Kayo

How strong kefla would be if it made sense Base gohan level = kefla (if caulifla and kale weren’t so stupidly op for no reason)

Hey, can you please make a updated version on Godzilla’s ranked from weakest to strongest. I have a feeling that MV Godzilla will be higher this time, based on what he did in GVK. In movie wise, I say MV Godzilla is the strongest, while Heisei being only one step down. But the strongest in the comics is marvel Godzilla, and comic Godzilla’s are like 10 times the strength of movie Godzilla’s, so… yeah. I would love to see it!

Question, I googled it and found nothing. Is gogeta from the broly movie ssb evolved? He has darker hair than vegito from zamasu arc, and in fighterz their hair color is distinctly different. Just wondering if this is confirmed or just visual choices
