DRAFT HORSES PULL OUT UPS TRUCK FROM SNOW BANK!!!!

MUST SEE!! Today ‪@WorkingHorsesWithJim‬, a UPS truck got stuck in our neighbors snow bank, so I took our Percheron draft horses down and pulled it out.
Watch our videos to learn about draft horses- horse logging, horses farming, and horse training! Jim uses Belgian, Percheron, and Suffolk horses to do work on the farm and in the woods. He teaches about harnesses, horse-drawn logging and farming equipment, horse feeding and maintenance, and voice commands for horses. New videos uploaded every week. Keep watching to see how Jim trains his new Suffolk Punch colts as he has trained his full-grown teams!

Our eldest son was working for Amazon during the pandemic and got stuck in the snow in early 2021 in Wayne Co Ohio. A few Amish teens saw him and told him not to worry they would be right back. One of their fathers came back with a team of horse and pulled his Dodge Sprinter right out. It was a great experience for him. A testimony to the goodness of the Amish and the power and grace of these magnificent workers.

Working horses...horses in general...will always find helpful work, will never be completely replaced by machines. Next to dogs horses have been with humans for thousands of years, we have evolved together and well treated horses, just like well treated dogs, will always have a place of honor in our world. These two horses, Percherons I believe, were calm, early understood what was needed and as soon as given their commands did the job...safely, quickly, and almost effortlessly! Love them even though I've never met them.

Love to see a pair of horse squat and pull together. Takes me back to my youth skidding logs off the hill tops in the winter.

The horses were calm and responded willingly when asked for their strength. Nicely handled horses are willing horses.

Wow that was cool to watch! My family had Percherons when I was growing up. They are amazing draft horses, always willing to do what needs doing.

That brought a little tear to my eye... So cool! I love the way he says whoa!! Too funny, I have a unique way of saying whoa to my horses also! I guess we all have our own special way of communicating with our horses! So glad I found your channel!

Thanks to all the transport folks who have been making it work these past 11 months & will keep on making it work too! That gentleman will have a story for his grandkids for sure. Just watched a vlog on old growth forest in New England that remain. Still great some old school technologies are here & now also making things "work". 👍
