His early point on how a trait is a disorder when it becomes an impairment... thank god. that's the perfect way to frame this

my younger daughter was diagnosed adhd and oppositional defiant. she was prescribed a low dose of Vyvanse. It made all the difference to her. I eventually tired one myself and was shocked at the sudden awakeness' that I had. My adult add symptoms were barely on the list, but enough to get my own prescription for Vyvanse. I'm up to 60mg and it makes all the difference to my day. the fatigue is not a problem when I have it. I was relieved to have discovered the category of SCT because it defined my symptoms in a way that nothing else has.
