@@santabakure6264 Ratio has a debuf he can inflict too, and Ruan Mei’s ult debuf usually makes it so that there are always 2-3 debufs, and if your running Mei then expect weakness breaks so it balances out I think

My ratio has 66cr, but with his passive, the imaginary set passive, and fu xuan’s matrix he’ll have about 102cr so he never miss a crit. Yeah my e1 fu xuan never leaves his team😂

Luka showcase is straight fire! I never thought of using him with Ratio, even though I frequently use my Luka on break build. Edit: Since I see this comment getting some traction, might as well give some info back to the lads :) The reason Break Luka works so well with these supports in particular, is because both DEF shred and RES pen from Pela and Ruan Mei are some of the only effects that can increase Break's damage. DMG%/ATK/Crit - none of that affects Break in any sort of way. So even if you don't run Luka specifically - any Break Effect oriented unit will greatly benefit from Pela and Ruan Mei much more so than any other support in the game.

Luka is my fav and most invested unit. With ruan mei he has 280 break effect 145 spd, I ran against kafka in the new event and he literally 2 shot each phase, with a break+enhanced basic doing 450k. So luka literally 4 shot a 2 million hp kafka. Also keep in mind enemy hp are increasing, so lula stonks go 📈

I tried Ratio Blade Pela Huohuo.. and cleared MoC12 first Half during 27 cycle. His Ult can be on Kafka and spam his skill on Captain.. therefore Blade/Pela's Aoe/Blast attacks trigger his FUA frequently. In 1 turn I managed to combo 5 actions with Blade+Ratio. It's not the best damage of his hypercarry but was so much fun and engaging while clearing fast.

I turned my Welt into a full support for Dr. Ratio. Basically Welt has S5 Resolution Shines (Luka 4* lightcone) to apply an additional defense reduction debuff so now Welt can apply a max of 4 debuffs on the enemy instead of 3. Then i gave Welt Penacony set with energy rope so i can both get more ults from Welt & buff Dr. Ratio's damage further via Penacony passive. & finally i ran full Bandit set on Ratio bc since Welt's ult is up so often Ratio can get the full use of the Bandit set passive where you get an addition 20% crit dmg when hitting Imprisoned enemies. Honestly been a blast using Ratio. Haha.

I pulled for Mei's E1 since we got Ratio for free this patch, and my god. Mei is just so fucking great. I ran Fu/Ratio/SW/Mei on Swarm side and it was so smooth. The fact that Swarm was weak to Mei and Quantum just made it so fluid.

It’s possible if you run silver wolf when there’s only 2/3 weaknesses, but kind of clunky. I hope we see new weird element combos on enemies

Interesting and intriguing thoughts, right from the beginning! I haven't had the chance to play with my Dr Ratio, due to lack of good equipment and the lack of credits that I need to built said equipment up, which is still improper. But the thoughts of triple buffers and the possibility of this changing throughout the different scenarios? Makes me think that Dr. Ratio is one of those units, which we have to consciously keep in mind, so that we do not forget about the greatness that he has for us in stall. - I might make another comment again, later. After I have seen the rest of the video. As I said: Already a great start!

Great showcase! Just so y'all know, it's also possible to 3 cycle clear this MOC without E1 Ruan Mei and his signature light cone. I've done it with Luocha | Silver Wolf | Tingyun | Dr. Ratio. All E0 except for Tingyun (E6) and Ratio on S5 Cruising. He's really good for MOC!

One thing about huohuo as well is that her signature adds so much value to her kit. On top of the atk% buffs, it allows her to actually be more sp efficient and sometimes skip skill because of the healing on allies’ ultimates. It is a luxury pull, but it’s such a QoL and DPS improvement for any hypercarry or dual dps comp. Plus, this just compliments her synergy with Ruan Mei since the only buff she lacks is atk%.

I doubt you will see this but , I'm currently trying to farm an imaginary orb for ratio and im 60/210 with E2 , the e2 states imaginary damage based off his atk is it worth using atk orb over imaginary due to the stats i get on the follow up atk ( I play topaz ( with LC ) fuxuan ruan mei ( e1 LC ) ratio with LC or do i continue farming the imaginary set , Would mean the world to me if anyone could back to me on this

Sure, an unbuilt Silver Wolf would be "worse feeling" than Pela, when the stage literally punishes you for not bringing Pela or Luocha into it. Silver Wolf can max out the required debuffs on a target all by herself (she has 6 unique debuffs in her kit, while Pela only has two at E4, plus one from her technique). Sure Pela is better in a stage that is specifically made for her to shine, but Silver Wolf is overall a better support for a debuff-focused or single-target carry (Ratio is both), while also having meaningful damage and CC capabilities if you actually build her for more than just weakness implant. Silver Wolf doesn't need a mono-team to shine, she needs a proper build and game knowledge.

He was breaking the dude before he got to use his heal mechanics I’m a SW haver myself but some of y’all just refuse to accept the fact that her ramp up time in applying debuffs on wave 1 and when switching between targets is a hindrance to her performance even though her buffs are immaculate on paper

@@sev559 Pela: 1. Can remove the healing. Not relevant here as you stated, yep. 2. Gets 2 free turbulence charges from mara-struck soldiers with her ultimate. Quite relevant, since the stats of the enemies are bloated for now because of the turbulence being really strong and them wanting us to rely on it. With SW's skill on her first turn, you should already have 3-4 debuffs applied (if you started with her technique). One of which is a 10% universal res shred (Pela does 12% A4, but Ice only). 13% if the enemy had another debuff, like a speed down from Ratio's domain. Pela is stuck at just two (not counting Resolution, because any Nihility can use it). Silver Wolf, sadly, still needs to win a 50/50 to work properly on Kafka, and there's nothing you can do about it in this team, aside from dropping ice completely (swapping Ruan Mei for Bronya). But running Bronya on that team means having HUGE SP-issues. Frankly speaking, you can't even sustain an optimal rotation with Huo Huo, Ruan Mei (not counting her signature lc here) and Silver Wolf, but I guess you can slack on a skill from Silver Wolf and compensate with a Huo Huo ultimate, or just not have the healing aura up for one rotation (you're risking to get dominated tho or even killed because you didn't heal with a skill that turn either), and that would be enough for three more Ratio skills. But, I guess, having quantum weakness on Kafka or Trampler is not that important since they get shredded and broken by Ratio anyway, without too much help from SW. And Kafka is entanglement-resistant, so breaking her with SW is really not that important.

I'm using him with Silverwolf topaz and a sustainer and I love the team. Being able to give fire weakness onto the enemy's in floor 12 makes an insane difference. Topaz especially after she used her ult just bursts through shields like it's nothing meaning I can just save my ruan mei for my second team. Also the interaction between numby and ratios ult with back to back follow up attack, as numby does proc "Wiseman's Folly", is super fun to watch. I'd recommend giving the team a try

So far, the only sustainer E0S1 0 cycle run I saw was a comp of Ruan, Tingyun, and Huo Huo support (E1S1 Ruan) and I saw another vid saying his highest dps comps use Ting+Huo Huo so I kinda believe it now. Being able to spam ults which is the majority of his damage adds up so quickly. (I will link the vid I’m talking about when I get home cuz my phone is about to die.)

Funny enough my Dr Ratio team been Dr Ratio,Ruan Mei,e4Pela(with the ensnared LC) and Loucha. No issue so far; dmg goes brr causes of constant debuffs uptime, SP possitive...yea,it's fun

As somebody who doesnt have Ruan Mei or his lc and has a very mid Ratio (relics hate me so bad) he does ok. He doesnt explode everything into oblivion like DHIL but its servicable. Hanya actually works really well with him, for one you have all the sp in the world then there is the attack and speed buffs also access to Bronya lc if you know what you doing.

Ryan Mei E1 made me so happy and irreplaceable for now in a lot of my team comps heheeh and Dr Ratio has been hella fun to play! I finally have a use for my SW I did the team you recommended HuoHuo/SW/Ruan/DrRatio and it’s very fun to play as! Still need better relics on him and will probs go for E1! Got lucky and got his S1

It's really unfortunate that as a new player (i started playing for the first time at star rail 90 days ago) i have very few 5 star characters since i was even unlucky with the pulls. I obtained Silver wolf after 150+ pulls, and lost the 50/50 again for ruan mei after another 78-79 pulls, failing to obtain her since i didn't want to consume all the 30 pulls i had left (and i completed all the content of the game). And for the standard characters i found 2 gepards and one bailu, so even if they gave me Dr. ratio for free, the only unit i can use with him is silver wolf for the debuffs, tingyun for support and a natasha (or bailu) for a healer. But it's really a single target team, and i feel like i'm struggling really hard at doing almost any content instead of my other team that i used up until this point with Xueyi as my main destruction dps, since basically eveything requires you to do AoE or at least cleave damage. So, at least for the characters i currently have, Dr. Ratio is not very good, and i'm really sad about this ☹

My suggestion is to build up all the support units u like (tingyun, pela, SW, asta, etc) and sustain units (build gepard if u don't plan to go for limited 5*. he's been my stable sustain unit since day 1 after getting him from the beginner banner alongside luocha, never pulled for other sustains or built 4* version in that regard). it's normal to have few 5*s as a 3 month player. hell, as a day 1 player, I've only pulled for 4 limited 5*s. If you've invested in DoT units, u can for kafka. If not, blade is a good pickup for aoe content or u can brute force your way thru with 4* dps like serval, and just wait for 2.0 and beyond. Lastly, Dr ratio is a hunt unit so ofc he won't excel at aoe content, it's not his fault but rather the hunt path. I use him with pela and tingyun (f2p, e0, s5 herta LC) and he easily clears one side of the MoC with 2 elites.

In SU if you pick the elation path with Dr.Ratio, Ruan Mei, Clara, and either Himeko or Herta, best team if you get most of the elation blessings, they are shredding the health of the enemies, even if you use Dr.Ratio's ultimate on the boss and Clara's Ultimate, they will be shredding

I’m so happy I got Ruan Mei signature LC and her E1. It completely changed the feeling of the game for me as a F2P.

I didn't have any good relics to mix for ratio specifically so I tossed the quantum set on him from my seele. Bro with SW and Tingyun was dropping 30k skills and 50k FUAs. His crit was overcapped and his crit dmg was on the low end of only 150% with his full talents. I'm sure I can get him to slap harder once I get a set up that'll work for him.

Man im new to the game, been playing for like 8 -10 days and Ruan mei is my first 5 stars hero, i thought it was the normal thing to break the shields fast, until i had to use 2 teams for some content i was crushed with the fact that its not the same without Ruan mei.

5:27 with Pela i often don't have enough debuffs on enemy, it falls down to 3 debuffs often with her and it make me deal around 20k less damage with follow ups(from 50k to 30k). With silverwolf i always get this and she increases damage so much more.

Pela is good with this MOC12 for the enemy ice weakness, and her AOE ULT Defend shred makes her better than Silverwolf, Pela actually applies 4 debuffs at start of first wave: 20 Def reduction from technic + E4 ice res Reducation + 16 Def reduction from Luka lightcone S5 + 42 Def reduction from her ult if you have energy rope

I used tingyun with DDD and pela for the aoe debuffing alongside ruan mei and found out that Ratio unironically kills the 1st wave too fast if I let em do his thing😅 (probably a skill issue, i need to optimise the resources i have in order to not overkill). He's basically what I wish yanqing was, except yanqing's bootycheeks "fixed chance" Follow-up never goes off, and that's a shame cause he'd be way more reliable as a dps if he had that but alas he's paying for his crimes in hi3rd by being dicked on in hsr 😂.

I feel like TingYun could be up there in the BiS section. Aside from buffs, she can battery Dr Ratio making his Ult rotation faster for more FuA.

I've tested both dr ratio+ruan mei and dr ratio+tingyun but the performance is roughly equal to me. I don't have huohuo so maybe that's why i feel like tingyun is equal with ruan mei when i pair them with ratio. With ruan mei he can deal higher dmg and break shield easier but with tingyun he can constantly ult making him constantly trigger his follow up and deleting the enemies off turn. I also equip dance dance dance on tingyun making him advance forward everytime i use tingyun ult. Both of them clears roughly the same spd.

Man I want Huohuo so bad. Fu Xuan and Lynx are my only sustainer. I'll get her on her rerun.

Welt with resolution shines test that hell be in best in slot because you can basic attack and they get the def shred and the ult applies vulnerability and the def shred but you do need above 60 percent EHR

if you dont mind gambling then tingyun ddd + huohuo quid + ruan mei can help slow ratio get 1 cycle quite consistently provided you hit your 80% fua off-ult if you dont then it's still a clean and easy 2 cycles regardless, no need for eidos or sig at all i do 1 cycle 3 times in 5 runs that's good enough odds

Just finished watching and wanted to say I really appreciate this type of video since I've already watched the Brax guide 😅 On a side note - I think I figured out what the chalk attack is about.. when we say something/someone is "chalked" what are we saying? the luka/ratio team is so cool, definitely building luka

I did MoC 12 2nd half with Ratio, SW, Topaz and Loucha. Even though the elites are not natively weak to Imaginary or Fire, the damage output was pretty insane. And SW adding a weakness to the enemies helped breaking probably more than Ruan mei would have. I feel like most people tested in the first half because it's easier to reset, but Ratio gives its best against the big swarm bug, since none of his ult potential gets wasted.

I don't think I remember ever being charm when fighting kafka with using Huo Huo on my Team lol Finally hit 100k follow up with Dr ratio with the team of Dr. ratio, Huo Huo, Pela(E4) with s5 resolution shines, Ruan Mei.

If you use Welt's ult in the middle of kafka's actions, you can skip her charm.

After trying everything my favourite setup was Ratio, Topaz, SW, sustainer. When sparkle comes she'll be replacing one of Topaz or SW, not sure which yet.

i run him with pela tingyun and huohuo. with only 72/166 crit ratio, using 2 duke and 2 hackerspace and herta lc s5, i managed to clear moc 12 with only 2 cycles. tingyun+huo energy is absolutely massive for him, it's not even close.

Great video smack. This is why Huo Huo is so incredible. She acts like a buffer giving energy and attack %. She also makes Kafka irrelevant.

If you have e1 Ruan mei and signature why don’t you use the def ignore set it will be more damage?

Atk boots ratio with a tingyun(rocking DDD) a pela and a fu xuan was able to clear moc12 in 3 cycles Also not having huo huo makes him really hard to play her value skyrocketed after Ratio

TBF, during the Luka showcase part, we have to consider that Ruan Mei is E1, if we don't have E1, you'll definitely have a hard time getting the stars to align unless your relic stats are god tier. Crazy this can be done with no sustain.

I didnt pull ruan mei and dr ratio still works well for me personally. I mostly just use dr ratio, topas, sw, and fu xuan. The most fun i have had with a team because i am bias with follow up attackers lmao

@aceknight6622 any character that can apply damage over time can help with dr ratio's follow up percentage. Serval could work for a instant f2p option

yea its also important to note may main dps is dan heng so teams conflict. for dan heng i use him,lynx,yukong,tingyun/gepard and for him i was thinking dr,sampo,lynx,welt? maybe replace lynx with serval? or tingyun@@Br3akf2st_Sp3c1al

@aceknight6622 personally that team with dr, Sampo, lynx, welt doesn't seem to bad for what you might have. Natasha could replace the healer for that first team too, but I'm not to sure. That's a tuff one

So much truth spoken... I am overloaded to tears.

I had great time, I got free Dr. Ratio and also won my first fifty-fifty ever(day one player) on Kafka banner. Because I didn't know I'd win I didn't prepare anything for kafka so now my Kafka is not completely build so it takes some time.

Luka feels like a 5 star in optimal situations.

Bronya is good with sustain if you have E1 S1 Topaz as you get all the debuffs he needs, you just trade not capping his A6. But tbh I think Ruan should be in a tier of her own, cause the only reason im not using her is cause shes on my other side.

I think tingyun is also a BIS maybe? cuz with her u can 0 cycle with ratio, energy is very important to him.

I just wish there were (more) boss fights with just the boss for single target to shine

I understand your position on SW performing similar to pela. However, a few things: a) You said that she has trouble keeping ult up on 2 elites, but I can do it consistently with ERR. I don't know that it's optimal, considering ruan mei's buffs, but I have been using that relic. (Mostly due to bad luck with thief pieces) B)I would say e4+ characters should be comparable to e0 limited 5 stars if the game is balanced, not exactly a fan of the current power creep. Completely understand the gap between ruan mei and SW, though. C) I understand why you put pela over SW, but I would only agree if it was imaginary weakness. You specifically said this tier list is for generalist comps(correct me if I am wrong.) So, SW may give comparable damage to Pela in this MoC, but once the enemy is no longer imaginary weak, then SW shines that much brighter. SW would be much more valuable due to opening other units to break.

F2p here and just started a month ago, dr ratio hits like a wet noodle and i only have tingyun. Definitely feeling the mid wihout 5star supports i.e bronya and ruan mei.

Team slots be feeling a bit cramped right now lol 😅 maybe we can get content where we get to bring more than 4 units in the future…..or else a lot of units will be retiring soon.

once you go ruan mei there's no turning back. its not the other character has problem without her, its just ruan mei THAT good in every comp
