Custody was given back to Waco and ally but they are no longer a couple.

This is very old. I hope Dr. Phil was able to help the parents get their child back.

How easily the child courts can be manipulated is scary. Judges need much more stringent review. To allow their personal dislike or anger to affect their rulings on children's lives is pathetic.

Waco, I'm so very sorry that you and your wife have to go through this and that you were abused as a child. There are narcissist in the world that think they have done nothing wrong. Please don't spend time in your life trying to fix your so called mother. She doesn't seem to deserve that title. Her and her husband are feeding off each other in their own little made up world. Donor of Waco, get your own life, realize that you were not there as a mother, ask for forgiveness, and reflect on yourself and how you have affected your family negatively. I truly believe in forgiveness and redemption.

Let's call it. Grandparents get to be in their grandchildren's lives if the parents agree. Way too many grandparents taking custody of children who are not their children. Tribal courts seem to run loose and fast. No rules. No policy. Racism against the Caucasian mother?

I hope the parents won the custody battle.

Cuyahoga County, Ohio Domestic Court favors abusers over non-addict mothers...been there, now my 3 oldest are suffering because the court forced them to live with their abusive alcoholic (now dead) father. No one investigated him inspite of all the evidence I had against him back in 2012-14. Fast forward to 2021, he abuses them to the point that my oldest defends his little brothers and puts him in the hospital. ONLY THEN did someone say, "I think we need to take a look at this guy". My ex-husband ended up dying before the end of the second battle. His death is quite suspicious. Either A. He drank himself to death because he could, B. He was on drugs, C. He pissed off the wrong people (he did live in Cleveland and was known for saying whatever he wanted, true or not), or D. He offed himself because he wasn't getting his way in court again.

So, because they are Native American, they can appeal to tribal court which will super-cede a regular court in order to protect the heritage of the native people. This is actually very common in custody cases. If one party is native and the other isn’t, the Native American can go to the tribal court, petition for custody based on teaching them their heritage and raising them within their society, and they will usually reward that party with custody. It can be overturned, however the fight against the tribal court usually is huge hassle because it’s hard to get an award overturned anyway, but the effort that people put in to protect the native Americans and their culture is a lot. I understand the process but I don’t agree that kids should be handed over to uninvestigated parents. Also, they usually go to tribal court because they know it will be more favorable to them.

Marijuana isn't ground for rehab. There are people who actually need it. And they got their kid back
