I once followed a Facebook account for Keanu Reeves. I thought it was a fan page. That he might check in on once in awhile and say hello to us all. Immediately the person who started this account started to text me ridiculous stuff like: hello beautiful, how are you today. So I immediately realized it was a scammer and not a fan page and blocked the account. Who in their right mind thinks a celebrity is picking some random face off Facebook and flirting with them? It is so absurd it has to be mental illness. I hope she gets help from Dr Phil.

Sadly I’ve not been contacted by a celeb but I had an interesting one who said he was a soldier called MacArthur Pedro whose acc now says Alvin Pedro. Said he was a sergeant in the US army serving in Yemen. Within 30 mins of chatting he said he had a feeling I was the person he was destined to marry. Then started talking about our future together. Erotomania is a delusional disorder where sufferers believe they are in a relationship with a famous person they've never met. The most serious cases can lead to stalking or worse, but in other instances, the victim truly believes they are in a relationship and might even construe social media posts, gestures on TV, etc as "messages" to them. This is a mental illness that requires mental health intervention. It's not something to be laughed at and the sufferers do not deserve to be mocked. They should be referred to professional treatment because they will often fall back into the same delusion or in the future turn their attention to another celebrity and continue the pattern

My mom ALMOST got scammed .. she loves Terri Clark & someone messaged her saying, "I see you always liking my photos. I can only contact u here because of my management." It just happened to be Terri Clark's birthday irl & the scammer said, "What are you going to get me, sweetie?" My mom said, "Nothing.. you got more money than I'll have in a lifetime" They blocked my mom after 🤣

I am here after reading about a case where this woman keeps running into fake profiles of the same person and she is threatening her actual husband with fake abuse and DV cases to eliminate him to be with this real man.
