Dr Berry along with Paul Mason, Sten Eckberg, Ben Bikman, Bart Kay, Jason Fung, Peter Attia and others put me, at 60 years old, back on the path to metabolic good health. Low carb, one or two meals a day, intermittent & prolonged fasting, mostly animal based, no seed oils & enjoyable exercise. I can't thank you all enough👍😀

I call it a conspiracy theory. Isn't lowering the target numbers a good thing? People tend to do the bare minimum. I was dismayed at the bp standard having been lowered to 120/80 until years later when I was able to achieve it with 22 lbs of weight loss and five hours a week of cardio. That had nothing to do with big pharma. I happen to still be on meds for it. Why that is, is nobody's business. Some people have genetically high bp, glucose or cholesterol

@@souldesire5932 You don't think they might actually have tried the "actual healthy diet" stuff? Most of us have. We've been cutting fat, increasing fibre, for decades... people are getting fatter and sicker. CVD is increasing, autoimmune conditions increasing, Alzheimer's increasing. There is a direct correlation between the drop in availability of meat to the average person since the 70s and the corresponding explosion of diabetes type 2. It's a matter of historical fact that the sugar industry paid off Harvard 'scientists' to fabricate data that would blame saturated fat and cholesterol for heart disease and distract attention away from the real culprit: sugar. One of those paid off Harvard shills became the head of the USDA, the very same which issued their phony 'declaration' on cholesterol. The same people who've convinced you what constitutes an "actual healthy diet." You've been lied to.

@@islaadele1212 I'm in the health science and natural medicine space and am a nutritionist. I'm probably the last person that would warrant the generic, you've been lied to statement. We have a large enough body of evidence, though I certainly know much of it is pain for a biased. However, the complete and utter lack of discernment and honest research in this community is insane, I mean it's literally insanity. Forget cholesterol, I know about the so called scam of cholesterol from the start of it to sell drugs. However, many studies still show certain correlations, but it's not a super important parameter. The falsified studies can no longer be used as scapegoats because of the explosion of data and science we've had in the last 10+ years. I love meat and am pro-animal based generally, but this community has no balance or understanding in it's thinking. It literally believes every phyto-compound from every plant is toxic, harmful, and useless. This is a gross lack of understanding and it's dangerous. It discounts valuable medicine that is plant-based that helps a lot of people. I've seen Dr. Chafee and others giving such poor advice to people struggling on this diet having many issues and his answer is almost always eat more fat. It's irresponsible and lazy to blow off literally thousands of studies that disprove so many of the beliefs going on in this community. Ken Berry pushes pork so much, US pork and pork in general has many identifiable toxins, though I eat it from time to time. Too much sugar is bad, but also low-carb and ketogenic diets have SERIOUS issues in multiple studies, there's something problematic that occurs in the body.

I’ve been carnivore since August 8! Luck was finding this channel! So far my waist went from a 52” , hanging over, to a 44”, getting loose! No more feet swelling, and lost over 30 pounds. Still reading books on different diets, and who approved them, who paid for the research, and size of the participants! What an eye opener! I think the book was called “the big fat surprise “.

Off metformin, Prozac, antiinflammatories, gabapentin for nerve pain, one blood pressure med, sleep meds, etc. God bless you for ALL the help you have given me!! Love your Southern humor in this! Dr. Berry I enjoyed your lecture. But you should know that what is happening in the human food is also happening in dog food with Purina claiming dogs are not carnivores and need carbs. But many vets disagree and I did put my dogs on a carnivore diet and I immediately saw changes. Shinier, thicker, softer fur, more energy, better temper and smaller poop. Pet food is a billion dollars business and their customers can't complained. Don't feed your dogs with this crap if you love them.

I am almost 79 years old. Male and I watched many health videos, and I admit I am very biased toward the carnivore diet. The reason I am biased is because when I eat carnivores, I feel better. I live with my own personal golden rule; nothing tastes good enough to feel bad, so I mostly eat beef, water, and salt. Taste pretty damn good, and I really believe I could out run 95% of the people my age. Even though I've stated I watch many health videos, the one that I always come back to is Dr. Berry. Why is that? Because the things that he puts out they just freaking work!

Dr. Berry, I would LOVE to see you do an interview with Dr. Joseph Mercola. I have followed him for many years, and he used to be a proponent of keto, but it seems now he's changed his tune based on some research he's come across. His new opinions are confusing many of us, and I'd love to hear what you have to say about his new arguments that eating low carb long term is unhealthy. Please, if you can, arrange an interview with him! TIA

And he has unfortunately changed his outwardly Tune a little bit too confuse us, or perhaps to confuse the deep state, whatever the case but I am reluctant at times to listen to what he has to say because he is now. Bought and paid for.😢

We don’t have to go back millions of years either to see what was healthy for humans. We lost our way on food just a little over 100 years ago. Before that most people ate real food. Back then our diet way less grains and zero factory made fats. Problem with todays foods like Dr Berry says, all fruits have been bred to be full of sugar and all grains are GMO and at least in the US, probably should not be consumed at all when you discover how much glyphosate is used in processing it. Meat is the closest to PHD today.
