A Fistful Of Frankensteins!
We feel it would be a bit unkind to present this episode without just a word of friendly warning. We are about to unfold the tale of Frankenstein (toys)! Wherein we take a look at some of the coolest Frankenstein Action figures of the 1970s, AHI, Mego and Remco. This is also the story of a man who has bought toy after toy without reckoning upon God !(his wife) Have you ever wanted to see a hard head variant vs a colored body variant? Searched in vain for the squinty eyed version! Have you ever sung the REMCO Frankenstein song? Talk like that,people call you crazy. Well,sit back,dim the lights and we'll see if people call me crazy or not !(Lets keep the comments section civil.) This is going to be good isn't it? One man crazy, and 3 very sane spectators! Back in the 70's I used to get these for $2 - $3 dollars at discount stores like Woolworths. My younger brother loved them.

No problem credit where credit is due. I love the terms you coined. . I had a blast going through your magazine and figuring out which variants I actually had. I grew up a Mego/Monster kid. I had the Mego Monsters and Remco but the AHI Monsters never showed up at the stores I frequented as a kid. I honestly became interested in them from listening to those first episodes of Pod Stallions way back in 2013. Now they are an obsession of mine. As well as Lincoln Monsters (Thanks for that!) Looking forward to issue two of Toy Ventures. Thanks for all your support.
I had the Remco Frankie when i was a little girl! He was awesome! I believe mom and i were at Dollar General when we found him. :)

Impressive AHI Frankenstein collection! The Remco Frank reminds me of the Lon Chaney Jr. version from Ghost.

AHI are my all time favorite monsters. I sadly never had them as a kid.
I had this figure when I was a kid. I think we bought him at DisneyWorld in the ‘70s.

Cool Frankenstein's and don't blame you for opening up the Remco, it would be hard not to get a better look at it. As for the box, I think the channel is called Toy Tickerer and he shows a box resto for a Six Million Dollar Man item and it really added to the display of the toy. Looking forward to the next video.

The prices have skyrocketed. I used to be able to get them for under a hundred. Not anymore. Sadly the ones I see on e-bay now are way overpriced. Keep looking there are still deals to be found!
As a kid i was all about wolfman but as an adult its franky hands down

AHI FRANKENSTEIN THE HIGHEST QUALITY STILL...NECA HAS TRIED TO MATCH THE QUALITY BUT EVEN NOW THESE ARE SO CLASSIC!!

I agree 100%! The AHI sculpts are my all time favorites. (even though they swiped their sculpts from the original Aurora kits!)
