Dr. Deborah Mash - Ibogaine can make you review your life.

About Deborah Mash:
Miami-based Deborah Mash is one of the world’s foremost experts on the hallucinogenic drug Ibogaine. She is the CEO and Founder of DemeRx Inc., a clinical stage drug development company advancing Ibogaine and its active metabolite Noribogaine for the treatment of opioid use disorder. Most recently, DemeRx partnered with ATAI Life Sciences-a global biotech platform with a special focus on psychedelic medicine-to develop ibogaine for those suffering from opioid use disorder. Building on the extensive human data available around Ibogaine, DemeRx and ATAI will submit clinical trial applications for a Phase II study in opioid-dependent patients.
Deborah is fascinating. We talk about how cocaine was “flooding” Miami and how that left a trail of addicts with no hope for any help. This inspired Deborah to start looking into Ibogaine as a treatment, how Ibogaine can make you review your life and change it for good, and why the substance feels like a “lucid dream”.

This episode of The New Health Club Show is part of our special "Heal Soul" series, which is sponsored by Dr. Bronner's, the activist soap company from California. Dr. Bronner's is a family-owned company founded in 1948, that is dedicated to honoring the vision of its founder, Emanuel Bronner, by making personal care products of the highest quality and by dedicating profits to promote a better world for all. The Bronner family started making soap in 1858 here in Germany, and carries on the family soap making tradition today, by using the company as an engine for progressive social change. I got to know Dr. Bronner's when I lived in Los Angeles and when I went shopping at Trader Joes, I made sure to pick up some of the delicious peppermint soap that all of us were using. It was just such a California thing, which I loved, but there is more to it. Dr. Bronner's dedicates profits to organizations working in support of regenerative organic agriculture, animal rights, community betterment, criminal justice reform, fair pay & and fair trade, and drug policy reform - which includes the responsible and equitable integration of psychedelic medicine into American and Global culture. For more information on Dr. Bronner's in Germany, please visit: drbronner.de. And please check out the February 27 podcast episode of The New Health Club to hear my interview with their CEO, and world-renowned psychedelic therapy activist, David Bronner, as we discuss how psychedelics might heal Holocaust trauma.

I used Ibogaine to kick opiates on August 9th, 2020. I did three flood doses in 10 days. It changed my life. The second experience was very profound. It showed me the pain that my addiction inflicted on my loved ones. I haven't touched an opiate since that date and have had zero craving. Ibogaine is a miracle!

@@goldenqueenh3707 Hello. Sorry for the delayed reply. YT comments are difficult to track. Yes, I’m doing very well. I still haven’t had a single opiate since Aug. 9th, 2020. Life is good.

How can I get in touch with Dr. Mash? I’m a 32yo entrepreneur and ex solar executive who had a fast rise in the business world during my 20’s. At 28 I had a medical issue that put me onto strong pain killers, 29 my business took a major hit and lost a project that was supposed to set us up for 20+ years and this unfortunately caused a divide in my social life too since most of my best friends were also my coworkers. By 30 I was fully depressed and started questioning what people would think if I died... By 31 I was no longer prescribed pills and found heroin for the first time.. later that year the love of my life left me (I don’t blame her) because of the state I had deteriorated in to and by 32 I had lost it all.. I don’t haves girlfriend or friends or a company and I don’t even have a home any more, I live in a van and don’t see how more years of this can take any more away from a man who has nothing left. Anyways I know everyone has their heartaches and struggles and I pray that you all find something in this world to help you through it! And if I ever had anything to offer to you all I would give you the shirt off my back because I know how ruthless life can be. But for my story at least, this is my chance... ibogaine.. I’m going off to spend a week to save how ever many years I can on this planet and to grab control of my life and be the hero of my own story.. I want my kids to someday look back at my life and say “my dad was a bad mother fucker and didn’t give up no matter how hard he got knocked down!”. I want to get coffee with my ex some years from now and have her be shocked and proud at who I have become.. and lastly I want my mom not to worry. I’m the funny guy that made sure everyone else was laughing and having a good time so they were so distracted they didn’t have to notice and worry that I was dying inside. So this time I’m saying I need this, I need that boost up. I don’t know if Dr. Mash needs or wants any participants or interviews on experiences but I’d love to help and would be more than happy to open up the darkness I keep to myself in hopes that it might help myself and others.

Seen a bunch of videos on this and not one says the cost of this. I'm assuming it's for rich people and most people who are in pain management could never afford this.

It’s prohibited by the DEA because it’s a PLANT (No pharma MONEY to be made). So the DEA opts for the 100,000 American deaths a year which they need to justify their funding….. TRUTH.

My daughter died 8/8/20 from treatment received at Baja Ibogaine. She should have never received this treatment. These individuals are responsible for her death Jose Cerdo, Dr. Velazquez and Chris Gage. This clinic is part of a network of clinics that operate in the Baja area. They are not legit clinics. May daughter was seeking treatment for an opiate and xanax addiction. Prior to treatment she had a low heart rate. After treatment she was left unattended and started having seizures from xanax. What I don't see talked about is the dangers of falling into the hands of individuals like these. What do families do when the death of a loved one is due to pure medical negligence and incompetence?

@@user-vf8ti4dq3d thank you. I’m not a medical professional to advise what you should or shouldn’t do. I will say this, there are a lot of sketchy people in this industry. My experience has been…..no one in this industry addresses the dangers of this treatment. I have posted my daughter’s story all over social media and sent emails. Those who are leading or pushing for ibogaine do not care about the dangers, the incompetent doctors and ill trained personal at these clinics in Mexico. I haven’t seen one person address this issue. Not one. Stay away from any clinic tied to Chris Gagen, Jose Cerda or Dr. Velasquez they are responsible for her death. Many individuals in this industry prey on people who are vulnerable seeking help.

21:30 - This has not been proven to be accurate. SSRIs for example are not correcting abnormal brain function, and claims to the contrary originated in marketing, not research, departments in pharmaceutical companies. However, lower dopamine D2 receptor density does predispose an individual to addiction. So that part is mostly accurate.

Wrong, serotonin is definitely involved wirh depression, ssris are neurotoxic not because they create serotonin, its cause they flood the synaptic vesicle with TOO MUCH serotonin which breaks the system. Balance is key

Is it not a hallucinogenic? I've heard it described as an oneirogenic according to Doug Greene.
