Huge fan of Hamilton but jeesh… what a shitty interview
Really love Hamilton. I discovered his show a few years ago while I was in the hospital. I was sick but the show made me laugh and feel better in a weird way. I would love to see him speak in person some day.

This works ! My bf went to a holistic place in MI and went to St. Kitts in 2002 ! Unfortunately he has been put on an opoid for a carwreck and addicted again. But was clean from all drugs and had used cocaine, Crack, alcohol, and heroin .

Honestly not trying to be mean at all but the lack of preparation made for a terrible interview, Hamilton was very gracious with you knowing realizing withing the first 10 minutes of the interview it was obvious you'd done almost zero research on Him. I'm not going to finish the video due to tge lack of respect and professionalism this shows. Again, I'm not at all trying being mean but rather give you the perspective of a consumer who is engaged in this field

i sense that while ham has a broad scientific knowledge of these drugs affects, I think he lacks the emotional, therapeutic maturity that healers possess to adequately answer her questions. yes, while he is a great guinea pig to pontificate scientifically about his adventures, maybe we are placing too many expectations and projections on him on him to be this all knowing sage of the human psyche.
No. First of all he struggled in this interview because he had to dumb himself down for her. She was so unprepared for this interview and didn't even know who she had sitting in front of her. She thought he made films about himself taking drugs, when he is a chemist who has traveled the planet doing research. He is the best mind we have had in drugs since McKenna. Also- He isn't claiming or attempting to be a "healer". He is literally a scientist and researcher. No one said he is a sage of the human psyche. We compare him to McKenna because he is a major voice in the community, and his contributions to research. As well as his reasonable approach towards drugs. Not because of his personality. Maybe you're thinking otherwise because of this interviewer. She has no clue who he is or what he does.

About creating psychedelics without the psychedelic effects .... Haven't we already had decades of these exact drugs in the form of prozac.paxil.ect. I thought those drugs were created on what we learned about seretonin from psychedelics.
No, they are completely different classes of drugs pharmacologically, and antidepressants were not made from research in psychedelics. The only overlap is they both these classes of drugs affect the serotonin system, but this system is massive, has multiple types of receptors, each having wildly different effects

The doctors that want a psychedelic without the psychedelic totally missed the point of them. It is also very silly to think the brain can have that level of stimulus without a hallucination.
How do you know that? maybe it doesn't need that hallucination. Do you know how the brain works?

The cause of hallucinations is pretty well theorized and there is a reason why there hasn't been a drug that replicates the stimulation without some form of hallucination. Hamilton has talked about it a few times. But sure, PhDs will always figure out they were wrong in some form.

SSRIs for example are not correcting abnormal brain function, and claims to the contrary originated in marketing, not research, departments in pharmaceutical companies. However, lower dopamine D2 receptor density does predispose an individual to addiction. So that part is mostly accurate.
Wrong, serotonin is definitely involved wirh depression, ssris are neurotoxic not because they create serotonin, its cause they flood the synaptic vesicle with TOO MUCH serotonin which breaks the system. Balance is key

As sad as I am about the end of Hamiltons pharmacopea, I am so happy for Hamilton that he gets to do what he loves, working at a University lab with his friend Jason that is so amazing good for you man, you are an inspiration to many, its people like you that will make real change in drug policy, you are a legend mate!
My daughter died 8/8/20 from treatment received at Baja Ibogaine. She should have never received this treatment. These individuals are responsible for her death Jose Cerdo, Dr. Velazquez and Chris Gage. This clinic is part of a network of clinics that operate in the Baja area. They are not legit clinics. May daughter was seeking treatment for an opiate and xanax addiction. Prior to treatment she had a low heart rate. After treatment she was left unattended and started having seizures from xanax. What I don't see talked about is the dangers of falling into the hands of individuals like these. What do families do when the death of a loved one is due to pure medical negligence and incompetence?

My experience has been…..no one in this industry addresses the dangers of this treatment. I have posted my daughter’s story all over social media and sent emails. Those who are leading or pushing for ibogaine do not care about the dangers, the incompetent doctors and ill trained personal at these clinics in Mexico. I haven’t seen one person address this issue. Not one. Stay away from any clinic tied to Chris Gagen, Jose Cerda or Dr. Velasquez they are responsible for her death. Many individuals in this industry prey on people who are vulnerable seeking help.

Yes, ibogaine affects the heart rate. Those receiving Ibogaine must be monitored and checked on frequently. Deaths have occurred. Prayers and love to You and Your Family.

Hamilton Morris is mistaken. The Psychedelic Molecules Themselves are Living Beings of Light infinitely more intelligent and advanced than humans with a Will and Laws of Their Own. When Hamilton Morris interviewed me 3 years ago he had no idea Who the Psychedelics are, it seems he hasn’t learned anything since that time. Always with the Love of My Parents in Heaven, the True Psychedelics - God Themselves, - vincent ꧁Consciousness꧂ DMT and 5-MeO-DMT are two of the Molecules that comprise a human’s Consciousness. All True Psychedelics are the Molecular Structures of Pure Consciousness. The human body synthesizes it’s own Consciousness (the DMT & 5-MeO-DMT found in humans). The human body then metabolizes the Consciousness that it is producing. The amount of the endogenous Consciousness that the human body is able to metabolized depends on many factors. The less pollutants, poison & other contaminants present in the body will result in the ability to metabolize more of the Consciousness that body is producing. Likewise, the more pollution, contaminants and poison a body has inside of it the less Consciousness it is able to metabolize. We do not refer to Holy Communions with the One and Only Living God as “tripping”. Nor do we refer to the Psychedelic’s Condemnation of a human’s transgressions against Their Heavenly Laws as a “bad trip”. The last terrifying experience I have had with the Psychedelics was in November of 2019 when They showed me many, many millions of humans across the entire earth dying from flood waters and poison - all the water was poison. This was my only Holy Communion I recall screaming out in horror about, but I clearly understood this wasn’t just symbolic, I truly believed many millions of humans were going to die very soon. 2 months after this Holy Communion covid-19 hit. So by April 2019 is when we discovered the etymology of virus is poison and the Psychedelic showed me that millions would die from poison. The world also understood by that time that dying from covid-19 is literally like drowning and the Psychedelic showed me millions of humans drowning. So just covid-19 alone has killed millions. My belief? Many, many more are to perish.
