A great podcast, thank you. I have focused on interoception and closing my eyes a lot in my movement practice and Andrew and Ido acted as a reminder that visual acuity and exteroception may be also be a valuable attribute to train. I wonder if there is a future podcast in the use of and training of the eyes in sport (and for the average Joe)? Maybe comparing yoga eye training techniques to any appropriate studies. Forgive me if something like this has been done, there’s a lot of good content of yours and i may have missed it!

Dr Huberman if I may offer a suggestion. It is very common for intellectuals to put their head down to think while trying to learn movement. However this tends to bring us out of our body and removes the awareness. Its also an emotional state. Unless the movement dictates it that should be avoided or the movement cannot be learned. We would use the term centerline to describe this. And in most movements lack of centerline not only detaches awareness but also sets us off balance. That 8 lbs (maybe 10 for you) is a lot at the top of the stack. Our ability to balance is obviously automatic but every little bit of off balance requires cognitive load to right. Someone with skills can use that fact to momentarily shut down anothers pfc and even their awareness. So that little bit of looking down may seem like nothing but it is a lot. Respectfully, a non neuroscientist

Adding on to the point mentioned regarding the 72 sects not being in hell fire forever i told mazhin that he should leave his silly opinion and go to the sahaba's understanding to which he dared me to provide proof. I provided the ijma of sahaba, and the 4 imams and the rest of the salaf quoted by Imam ibn taymiyyah rahimahullah and he said he wont accept Imam Ibn taymiyyah rahimahullah's opinion, it felt like talking to a brick wall because tjis person wont understand what ijma is and how it's different from a personal opinion.
