Dr. Aman Amir on career in medicine, teaching, writing fiction and self discovery

Dr. Aman Amir has been practicing medicine as a GP, medical lecturer, and magistrate for over two decades. A lifelong creative, Dr. Amir uses creative writing in his clinical downtime as a way to unwind and get lost in the characters and stories he creates. His debut book, Askew, is a fast fiction story that captivated readers on release. His latest full debut novel, 'Annie Are You OK?' has surprised and delighted contemporary fiction lovers.
Taking inspiration from a wealth of human interaction in a medical and legal setting, Dr. Amir has spent a career looking for answers to the pain and suffering of patients along with an insatiable search for the truth. Both weave their way into his intriguing and intelligent stories.
With a love of writing, comedy, and art alongside his work as a doctor, Aman is a safe pair of experienced hands-on any broadcast. A confident speaker with a light northern English accent, he is regularly used by TV producers for ITV and BBC in the North of England for his views on the latest, breaking medical news stories.
