after you bypass the OBC how long can you leave it that way? My charger pushes 52.9 volts for about 15 minutes and then shuts off. Is it safe to leave the car this way or do I have to replace the OBC?

I feel grateful this reconditioning program kzread.infoUgkxcJ22tnHH9l1vjdIdEIG27iOG55P7LXI8 was started. I had Three dead batteries scheduled for disposing of. Having said that, I tried out reconditioning them and it took me only an hour to do it! It doesn`t matter what type of battery you want, the process works.

I have a new DPI charger for a E-Z Go RXV. I unplugged new charger from cart after green light come on indication a complete charge. About ten hours latter I felt of the charger and it was still hot. Do I need to unplug the charger from the AC source ever time I charge my cart ? Is this normal ? Never had this issue with my old charger.

Being all metal, it will take a long time for the charger to cool down. DPI chargers are smaller and more compact and hold heat longer. You shouldn't have to unplug the charger from the car, nor the ac power supply.

  • @diygolfcart

First thing I would recommend is to load test the batteries using a Voltmeter (not load tester) and verify that the batteries are maintaining a minimum voltage of 7.9 under load. This will isolate the issue to the charger or the batteries. The main reason for this is that no charger manufacturer will warranty any parts till the issue has been determined to be inside the charger. If the issue is the Thunderbull, I'll look at replacing it with a new MODZ MAX charger.

Check the accelerator pedal. Make sure it's fully upward. The G29 has been known for sticking pedals. If the pedal doesn't come all the way back up, you may be hearing the electricity passing through the brushes in the starter generator.
