Absolutely lovely edit. DNegs nailed it too. It's the end of an era. Doyle truly is the GOAT
If you are passionate about what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. Doyle epitomized what it meant to be a professional card player before it was even fashionable to the masses. What a great role model and ambassador for the sport. Rest In Peace.
Beautiful video. I'm very happy to got the opportunity to meet and talk to Doyle for a minute at the WSOP (maybe 2007? I was there as a tourist, did not play any event). He was super friendly and signed my friends T2o. My friend framed the cards and put it on the wall in his living room and still has it there til this day. Unfortunally I had not thought about that idea so I had no cards for his autograph. I'll never forget our meeting. RIP Doyle
What a nice Tribute to the legend… R.I.P Doyle Brunson
I admired him most in all of Poker. I'm not a player but a watcher of the game back to Gabe Kaplin doing the world series. Big Papa, as Gabe called him, was just everything Poker should be and with a smile. I am going to miss that smile. RIP Doyle Brunson. You were the GOAT.
I read Doyle’s autobiography in high school. What an incredible life this man lived. From the old school poker days where people have been robbed and shot to playing in the modern era watched by millions of people. RIP Texas Dolly 🙏
This man will be missed. I got to play with Lyle Berman once many years ago - he spoke of Doyle. Suffice to day that man was the real deal, a classy gentleman and a poker genius. RIP to the poker legend and thank you Lyle for affirming what many already knew firsthand ;)
What a beautiful video. The portrait of Doyle, guest speakers and music are really heart warming. Thank you Doyle for making this game even more incredible!
Thanks for all the great memories Doyle Brunson. Rest In Peace Doyle Brunson.
Played until he was 100. Absolutely amazing. Glad he could
Poker isn't the same now, knowing he's gone. His death has left a gigantic hole in the entire poker community. What an absolute legend.
Probably the most important person for modern poker, rest in peace doyle.
Thank you for taking the time for this great memorial tribute. One of the best.. R.I.P Godfather of poker and show them up above that poker is a great game if you played it like you did. With passion and humor and excitement when you won or lost. You always stayed a gentleman. R.I.P Doyle
I once won a signed copy of his best hands book. I'm going to read it again tonight. Great character.
He looked better in his old age than he did when he was young. And he will continue to look better and better in the years to come.
I bought Super System and read it through and through and I got bounced out of my local game as a result. Thanks, Dolly! RIP
The tributes for this man is awesome I found out alot more of his human character witch I did not know before he was an awesome human man poker player RIP
Much and I mean MUCH better than the GG video. Thank you. RIP DOYLE

Navy Seals and Top Gun fighters alike salute you Doyle for your grand legacy doing battle in the poker ring with Emersonian self-reliance and Special Forces warrior instinct, distinguished class, first-class professionalism, honesty of the highest order, and Texas dusty long-road grit. You are a true "road scholar" in pursuing truth in search of poker excellence like a Texas beagle picking up the scent in the pursuit as well as building the game to international bridges of friendship and bonds between people around the world. From the smokey back rooms of Texas poker games of old, you brought the game to the leading edge of game theory and computer analytics. Doyle, rest in peace in the halls of poker Valhalla with your fellow poker brother in arms like poker legend Chip Reese. You highlighted, in your "road scholar" journey, how the truth can set us all free not just in the poker realm in the big game at Bobby's, but sublimely more importantly in the bigger poker game of life. For a poker legend of your grand influence, you deserve a WSOP poker ring attached to your coffin much as is done in Navy Seal tradition at a funeral. You promoted truth and friendship for all around the world with the game of poker as the bridge of convergence. In the end, truth and love prevail amidst the drama and challenges of the beautiful game of poker and in the big poker game of life. The heart-wrenching sight of a flag-draped coffin is a solemn reminder of the sacrifice that brave men make every day to protect our country. But what is the significance behind the Navy SEALs slamming a metal insignia on the fallen soldier’s coffin? This action is a final tribute to the fallen service member and a show of respect to the fallen soldier’s family. It is a sign of honor, of appreciation, and of love that is paid to the fallen service member. It is an action that speaks to the commitment and sacrifice of our servicemen and women, and a symbol of the respect that the Navy SEALs have for their fallen comrade.
RIP Mr Brunson,, so many great memories ❤,, prayers for the family,, when I found out this morning it was very sad ,, gonna miss you Sir again RIP
This Man Has Class
Nicely done. Thank you.
It's truly a sad day for the community & the Brunson Family but I can't be entirely sad. Cause we're looking at a man who revolutionized the poker game and also played with passion until his very last moments in his life. And knowing that is the best memory we have of Doyle. A memory that should make the community smile and say: What a fucking Legend! I hope he passed away in peace. Playing 10-2 hits different now ❤
Rip legend 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
The "Texas Dolly" brought a lot of class to the game of poker. I have enjoyed watching him play over the years. R.I.P Doyle Brunson

* NOTE: "Great Player and a gentleman at the Poker Table and away from the Poker Table ! !" * Rest-in-Peace ( RIP ) Doyle Brunson..., you a ( poker legend ) and will be missed by all... "Semper Fi" Mike in Montana :)
The world has truly lost a GREAT man!
Rest in peace Texas Dolly.
Truly the end of the Golden Age of poker. Doyle was the last of the Traveling Texas Grinders that had to find any kind of poker game to make a living. My understanding back then.....most people thought being a poker player was kind of seedy and low form as an occupation. What stood out for all those turbulent, underground poker years, Doyle always seemed to be a good person, a man of his wordwith honor. RIP Doyle and condolences to your family.
RIP 10 - 2
Legend forever 😢
