And I love his post-flop aggression when it looks like he has the nuts. Sheer guts. And love his Doyle's Room hat. Spent most of my online life there; it had a real down-home feel and was very sociable. I won a tourney there, the prize was a signed copy of Doyle's Super System. Now no more.

I wont forget till I die when Gabe said that Phill Hellmuth looks like a shy ostreich looking for mate. I died almost. It was SO funny. Why? Because it was true ofc. Once upon a time, the rule in 'big bet' games was that the wager wasn't closed until the "player's hands come to rest outside of the betting area". When NL became the most popular form of poker and became common at low stakes, the rule was changed because it was prone to abuse. Among high stakes players where a higher degree of ethics is expected, there is some leniency on what constitutes a string bet.
