‘Doomsday Cult’ Prophet: More Disturbing Evidence from Triple Murder Trial

Ойын-сауық

Chad Daybell, a man who said he could discern whether people’s spirits were “light or dark,” is accused of killing his first wife, as well as his second wife’s children. The bodies of Tylee Ryan, 16, and JJ Vallow, 7, were found on Daybell’s property in Idaho. Daybell’s new wife, Lori Vallow, was convicted in connection with the murders last year. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber analyzes the latest disturbing evidence and testimony presented at trial.

I am amazed at how common it is to follow religion over all in the US. It gives some people great power over others, and in addition it makes it easier for evil to unfold right in front of you. It will be like this when it is normal for adults to believe in fairy tales and often create their own version of it

Yes it's still so shocking every time we hear it. I think taking on an autistic child was never part of Chad's plan. He wanted to be alone with Lori and live off the proceeds from the murders. Part of that plan went south when they found out Charles had changed the beneficiary on his life insurance. But, he was quick to claim on Tammy's death and Lori kept cashing in the kids' insurance payments after their death.

Yep, Ian Pawlowski is just as crazy to have married religious nut Melani Pawlowski (previously Boudreaux), just 10 days after meeting her. He needs to watch his back - she plotted with her Aunt Lori and Uncle Alex to murder her previous husband Brandon, for his large life insurance policy. Worse - she accepted Chad Daybell's claim that two of her children were 'Dark'. How much longer before she handed them over to be murdered? Not only is Melani Pawlowski very lucky to have got away with plotting Brandon Boudreaux's assassination, it's amazing she's still allowed access to her 4 kids when it's clear she believed Chad Daybell's garbage about 'light and dark' and 'zombies' and his slander that two of her children were so afflicted! It's entirely possible Chad and Lori's arrest for multiple murders saved those two children's lives. Ian Pawloski needs to watch over his children very closely!

Also a handicap child could never be possessed or commit sin because they are protected from evil in this probation. It crazy that she could even utter it. Also she is faking the mental illness because she was aware enough to lie to church authorities to keep her Temple recommend. They are both just pure evil.

My SECOND career was a criminal defense attorney. My first was a US Army officer with 5 years, 8 months up-front combat time. As expected, my legal views cut straight to the point, and straight to the principles of jurisprudence on which things are based. Chad Daybell, in actuality, had INVOLVEMENT in at least FOUR murders, not three. The fourth was the murder of Charles Vallow. However, there's probably a lack of conclusive evidence of his direct involvement. Thus, he's charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder in Charles' murder. Alex Cox, Lori's mentally disabled brother. The timing of his death is extremely alarming. I suspect that if future, in-depth medical examination is conducted, it will determine that he was murdered as well. This entire, crazy, twisted, horrific circus is beyond belief for the rest of us. For folks my age, it's Manson-esqe; akin to Charles Manson's con-game indoctrination of his followers.

Especially when it came to asking Alex about if he is okay after murdering someone!! No ma’am. This woman was 100% complicit. She is unhinged and dangerous. She isn’t much better than Alex, Lori and Chad, IMO. She was ALMOST the ideal candidate for a cult. Alex being Lori's protector makes a lot of sense to me. Alex comes off very arrogant to me. He and Lori's relationship was strange. In fact, I suspect they had an inappropriate brother sister relationship to be quite honest. Flirty almost. Both of their disconnect for human life makes me wonder if they are sociopaths. There's so many personalities and characters to unpack in this story. It's bizarre that these people were so easily persuaded by Chad's ideas under the guise of religion. It's terrifying actually.

Thank you. I don't know if this was brought up in the trial. Mel G said in an interview that Lori said months before Charles' murder that: 1. After the 2020 Utah Earthquake, it will be total chaos. No one would notice that Chad and her were a couple. 2. Daybell and Vallow became more reckless and carefree after only a little trouble from Charles' murder. 3. I think Daybell is evil. He doesn't believe. a) They rented that condo in HA for at least six months. b) HA is the worst place to deal with ordinary things. It's four to six hours behind. To get to ID from Maui, one needs to take three to five planes. 4. I think 50 year old wannabe Barbie hag does believe.

When Chad warned his sister-in-law and her husband nor to believe Heather, because she was spreading rumors about Chad & Lori, that made me think maybe Chad just keeps lying on top of lies because he can't stop. No discussion or research outside of the trial of any kind. Nothing that would influence their opinion in anyway and her case is directly tied with his. Does everyone actually abide by it to the letter? I’m sure not but if you get caught, you’re in big trouble as that risks a mistrial.
