Chad Daybell is on trial for allegedly killing two children and his own wife in order to be with his new lover, Lori Vallow. Vallow has since been convicted for her participation in the deaths of her own kids, Tylee and JJ. Now prosecutors are going after Chad, who they believe killed the children and buried them on his Idaho property. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber breaks down the most incriminating evidence against Daybell with professor of law Jules Epstein.

I don’t. She really thought those bones were dog bones. That or she is SOOOOO stup!d that she thought the detectives would take her word for it AFTER they dug up the remains and then they’d just throw them back in the ground instead of testing them (no one believes that’s gunna happen). I think she’s lower on empathy like her dad (who has NONE) but that doesn’t mean she participated or knew. It just means she’s a product of her psychopathic father. She spent time alone with her father before he was placed in that car. Chad could have told her that there was a misunderstanding taking place- mentally preparing her for what was about to happen. I’ll tell you one thing psychopaths and Narcissists DONT do- they don’t share their incriminating or immoral secrets unless they have no choice. They are lairs and cons with EVERYONE. Yes even with their loyal kids. Why would Chad tell her the truth? What does he gain from that considering he doesn’t have a conscience? Why take the chance of losing your cult members (children)? She’s extremely brainwashed and delusional as a result (as is half that town that believes in rating people and I’m not exaggerating), but whatever the case, I don’t believe she was told by her dad that he did this and is now covering for him.

It's possible, but I think he unalived himself, perhaps the ONE true thing Lori has said thus far. According to Zulema, Alex was starting to wake up to what C&L were up to, and that he was their fall guy. He told her about some details and where money was hidden should something happen to him. Also he went to Mexico the day before he died, to pick up "medicine". Either they talked him into doing it, or he took the cowards way out all on his own, I find the natural death report very hard to believe.

And they weren’t given a choice to send her to prison for life so they let her go free instead. Jodi arias also was found guilty for butchering her BF and yet the jury decided not to give her the DP. She asks him if Lori was shocked and she also mentions her and her brother have been on the property and that they haven't noticed anything amiss and I think she's trying to get her dad to say that too. Ultimately, I think she's in complete denial and just going into survival mode here. I don't get the vibe that she is complicit in any way.

When Emma said that they found a body - not the raccoon - no raccoon - and remained calm going so far as to ask what Lori thought - I believe that she knew it. Maybe not all of it. But she knew. Chad wore gloves. He brutally murdered Tylee and dismembered her body then burned it. I know Lori took out JJ with someone’s help. And Alex certainly helped with Tammy. It’s all horrifying. But JP isn’t creating the doubt needed for a reasonable person to arrive at not guilty. Nope.
