It's so funny to see so much footage of this game without any blood or actual ripping or tearing, to the point of missing shots on purpose, and it STILL feels badass.

That is the sign of excellent game design. Where even if you're not playing like a professional it can still look like it. And considering that Eternal's demons move faster and hit way harder than 2016, it makes intentionally botched shots that much more real even if it is for censoring purposes.

Massive props to ID for using footage from the Switch version of the game in advertising for the Switch-not something you can take for granted.

Nice to see this finally release. Don't have the Switch version of the game myself but from what I've seen people were really anticipating this, even worrying since it was taking a while to come out.

Eh. DOOM is not okay to play on the switch. I bought the collectors edition for PC when it came out. One of the best games ever made when you are able to have extreme graphics. The Switch GPU power. Just isn't enough for the full experience

I tried it with my cousin switch since he is the only one who mostly buy digital. At first we never get use to it until I did the combo on pc video I saw and it works it just a bit slow since you have to switch with the radial/wheel weapon select. But overall all once you get use to doom eternal gameplay style it good.

@@kingofrockz same and if that. Doesnt work you can get free repairs in certain countries like the us. I would recommend getting a pro controller until joycons are fixed. There are grips that mount the switch on the pro controller if you prefer portable gaming

It’s up to you. I own this game on switch and it’s probably the best port on the system right now. Even though it’s 30fps it feels, looks, and plays incredibly smooth. The graphics are quite good for the console and it controls decent (not as good as mouse and keyboard) but gyro aiming is a plus. I can say that this is a legitimate way to play probably the best shooter in recent years.
