@@BlueFlagAlpha I can confirm the arcade version is a lot of fun! does seem like the switch ports taken a hit visually but honestly who cares im just happy to get this on switch. Its been bloody decades since ive had to wait for an arcade port to a console lol

So many great arcade memories with Cruis'n Exotica back in the early 2000s. I haven't tried Cruis'n Blast yet in the arcades, but I'm looking forward to playing this on the Switch.

Fun fact: When the Switch was announced, I've heard that Cruis'n Blast was an arcade game machine, so I looked at some videos and it looks fun, weird and great. Back then, my first thought was "this should be on the Switch". It took 'em 5 years, but it's the thought that counts. The Switch needs more arcade racing games.

Atlantis was always my favorite level as a kid growing up across all Cruis'n games, and as a speedrunner it's still my favorite racing level in any game. "I love Atlantis!" -Cruis'n lady

I know the 12 year olds in chat dumped on the game during the Direct stream, but I actually think this looks super rad. It really seems like they captured the feel of those old Y2K era arcade racers. Almost like a ”what if the Cruis’n series continued on the Dreamcast after being N64 exclusive”, but with better graphics and effects. Just judging by the video, the controls seem super snappy, and it has a real good sense of speed. It’s kinda rare to find games like these nowadays, and even more rare to find those that do it well. So I know I for one am kinda excited about this, at least a little bit (though with only 16 tracks, it’s hopefully not more than $30). And it’s not a ”f2p games as service” game, which is very refreshing in 2021, because they very much could’ve done that.

@@perezaraujo2890 Cruis'n on the Wii is super weird. Basically they wanted to bring the old Fast and the Furious arcade game to consoles, but lost the license to it. So they just took all the mentions of the IP out and slapped the Cruis'n name on it.

you just know its gonna be epic while driving surrounded by dinos! Im old school, rather have 3 of my buddies next to me and drink beer having fun than being long distance.

prob same very much around that age i'm so sure got that cart some where along with mario party 1 - 3 Smash Bros. Extreme-G, Lego Racers, Diddy kong racing, DK 64, mickey speedway USA and my dreamcast with again saves i want to see the date of prob 1999 or 2000 or 2001 dates for SA1/2 THPS 1-3

Yes, indeed would have been insane if this was a Cruis N collection and had them besides this with online play? I hope this game has online play if not, I fear it'll die fast. I mean offline with friends it'll be the bomb like the 90's games but this has to have online. They didn't say it which scares me.

I've got to admit that I am a little disappointed in the lack of online play, but I still will check this out since I have been a fan of the series since the N64 era. It'll be nice to race and not have the environment popping up 10 feet in front of you.

This is something I don't get. Forza Horizon 5 still has plenty of very distracting pop in and even the new Gran Turismo for PS5 also has it. So annoying. I don't mind simpler graphics of it means the game is running at 60 fps, at the highest resolution possible, with no pop in and no aliasing. Clean visuals are always better than dirty blurry visuals full of issues.

I still can't believe they brought Cruis'n back to consoles. This game was a... Blast on Arcades. Dave & Busters in Toronto has this machine and I just kept playing it along with Mario Kart Arcade.

To their credit, the little line on the map did stretch all the way from Arizona to South Dakota, but it was still like a two minute stage... and why not call it... well, it's not the midwest, but just about *anything* other than Arizona!

Cruis'N series is amazing and so underrated, I have all 3 on my N64 that I play still, used to play with friends over all the time. Man those were the days, I miss them. My friend and I beat World and went so deep we unlocked the secret demon car that a lot of people didn't know about think it was called "speed demon"

Looks a lot like Excite Truck, so I am definitely going to check it out.

Played this at arcades plenty of times, glad it's finally coming

I’ve been waiting for this moment since this hit arcades. So hyped!!!

Anyone else feel the emotions from this return of a beast!?

Basically Nintendo’s answer to Forza Horizon and Driveclub but WAAY more arcadier.

Not really since this series is way older than those games, and also this game was mostly made by Raw Thrills with Nintendo just giving them the license of the series

I heard Nintendo wanted to bring back classics. Man.... They even brought back the 4-way split screen. I gotta get this.

I saw many people in forums lough about this game when it was announced. But for me it was one of the highlights in this direct.

This game has some serious Excite Truck energy, which is probably the biggest compliment I can give a racing game.

Dude, let me tell you something. If Raw Thrills and Eugene Jarvis were to make an arcade version of ExciteTruck... *BOOM!!!!!* Pump up that NOS tank, suckas!!!!!!!

I loved Crusin' USA and Cruisin' World both in arcades and N64! California Speed was cool too.

I still wanna get this, I just wish there was Online added to this too so I could play with my friends!

FOUR PLAYER SPLIT SCREEN!?!??! WHAT YEAR IS THIS!!!!!??? This game deserves to win for that one feature alone. I hope the game is actually good.

YOOOOOO! I have so many fond memories of playing Crusin World and USA with my dad when I got home from elementary school and the Crusin franchise was one of his favorite game series ever. I wish he was still around to see this franchise come back cause this looks amazing, and I am eagerly awaiting to get it. I'm just wondering how I missed this.

I remember playing this in a bowling alley's arcade When I left I was kinda bummed because I had a lot of fun, I was hoping it would come out on a console and here we are now- When I saw the trailer on the direct tho I got so hyped, as well as seeing BOTW 2

Man I’ve been wanting to see this come to the slick for YEARS since I’ve first heard it its existence in arcades. Crazy to think it’s taken until NOW for it to finally be released there!😃

Just now played Crusin’ Blast at the arcade. Yeah, now I gotta have this.

I'm really excited by this! Cruisin, Rush, and Thunder were games I spent a ton of time playing not only in arcades and pizza places as a kid, but also on the N64.

I miss games like this. Pure fun. We need a new Ridge Racer Game too.

I feel like I was the only person in the world who wanted a port of this to console! I've been hoping for a port for so long that I originally wanted a port on Wii U! Now I can play this anytime I want and don't have to spend all of my money at Dave & Busters! THX Nintendo!

From the Arcade and now into the Nintendo Switch.

This game reminds me race games from 90s, very colorful and crazy competitions!

This was my favorite announcement at E3!

Yes finally! We need all of the crusin games again. Day one purchase for me. 4 players split screen, freaking awesome! What about online? Where's the release date? Give us the Arcade ports of the other 3 crusin games. I'd totally freak out, take my money. 🤘🤩

I Love the Cruis'n arcade games so this is a Day One buy for me, now if only Raw Thrills could port the Fast And Furious arcades games to Switch or any other console I would lose my mind lol
